Hey at least informed players know what's good and what needs researching. Steam seems to be the cheapest place to get PC games and is like the main hub. I'm sure further updates will be made in the future to better filter out stuff.

There are a load of ways to see what a game is before you buy it. agree it's bad even seeing this stuff, but it's really much better than the previous few years where you had to be a huge corp to get a game out.

I think he's an honest guy and will always give his opinion no matter what. As you said Mack there is no quality control anymore and that's because it costs money to employ someone to do it. It costs steam next to nothing to just add a game to their library, compared to how much it cost back in the 90s when you had to print the manual, produce the CD/DVDs, market the game etc. It was that cost which forced developers to take a good hard look at the end product before releasing it.
Good on you Mack for slamming these games, shaming them is our only hope for a better future.

I've been through 4000+ games on Steam queue, and only 192 games on my wishlist, mostly because I'd MAYBE buy them if they go on sale. 192 out of 4000 pretty much sums it up, and an even lower ratio of games that you then buy and determine aren't absolute garbage! It's quite depressing.
Don't even get me started on the amount of weeaboo visual novels, simulations, and survival games I've had to sort through in order to see the REAL fucking gems.

Totally agree Mack. I used to love sharing Doom and Quake levels with friends. Nowadays these guys are just looking for a quick buck. This is no labor of love. There are lots more awesome things to play for free at sites like Moddb etc. This game would be laughed out of the building on Moddb even if it was free! LOL
