Here’s the thing about a man trying to get a woman into a vehicle to take her to a second location. Ladies, fight like hell even if it means doing the one thing he’s telling you not to do. Generally, these types of predators don’t like the attention that a screaming and fighting female brings their way. So, they will probably threaten to harm you, they might pull a gun or a knife, they may even try to physically subdue you. Regardless, you cannot relent for fear that he is going to carry out his threat. Because once you do and you get into that vehicle, your fate is pretty much sealed anyway. Take the chance and get loud, kick, scream and act like a crazy person, call his bluff. Just don’t get into the vehicle.
Scream "fire", not "rape". People pay more attention.

I screamed one night, at the top of my lungs. While going home in my wheelchair, from CVS. Some guy, kept trying to talk to me. It got real when I heard him start to run. 😳A motorist, stopped asked what's happening? I said that man's trying mug me. Please, follow me home. He did, I don't ever go out alone anymore. That was in 2016. The guy, never said, why he was chasing me. So I knew, he was up to no good.
Or just don't go out jogging in the pitch black Memphis night knowing that Memphis is the #1 crime city in America according to FBI statistics.

I’m still hearing stories like this after so many other situations where people were jogging alone? People please stop taking chances with your life and safety. There is the way the world should be and the way it really is. Don’t let your kids play outside unsupervised and don’t walk/jog alone. Especially in unpopulated area. It’s just the reality of the times.

In this day and age ESPECIALLY in Memphis any woman jogging should at least carry pepper spray and have their location shared with a friend or a family member while running. Plenty of apps allow you to send your exact location while on your route and to immediately send a distress signal to that family member and police immediately if something like this happens. If she's wearing some kind of tracker hidden on her person even better. It's sad that women need to do this but it's the day and age we live in. Not victim blaming at all but just additional ways to stay safe.

I’m a man and the last time I tried to jog in the early morning hours I had a car trail me for a good while. I even made random turns to see where they would go to confirm. If I were a woman they probably wouldn’t have wasted as much time following. Never going jogging again unless the sun is fully out. Stay vigilant and prepared

let's be honest...if the authorities thought she was still alive they wouldn't have arrested him or let on that they knew he was involved. The procedure would be to watch him to see if they can find her or if he leads the police to her, the next step would be questioning him to rattle his nerves and see if he makes a mistake. They know she's dead they just have to confirm it before telling the family and news.
He will probably enter a plea deal in exchange for telling the police where her body is. She is dead.

There was a video out there of an older huwhyte guy who was in his front yard watering the garden with a hose and some gremlinz, I guess driving around looking for a victim in broad daylight, confronted him and announced a robbery! The victim threw the hose to the ground and made a super quick draw from his appendix, one of the gremlinz made an extra quick sprint towards their car whilst the second on nonchalantly sauntered to the car!! You have to stay strapped, even on the potty!!

I think we all sense her fate. It breaks my heart. I am sure he is withholding her location as leverage in a plea deal for a reduced sentence. This reveals how little regard he has for anyone but himself. He does not deserve to live nonetheless live in society. I do not believe in plea deals but I recognize the family's needs, has the right, to bring her home and pray they both find her and get justice
