As a Celtic fan, I've always liked Ally's feelings for the Scotland team. He gave his all when playing for them. I'll never forget his final and 19th goal for Scotland against Switzerland in the Euros of 1996.
Takes a dafty to not recognise the talent he had. I watched an interview with him, Chris Sutton and some other fella driving around Glasgow and it was brilliant. He's a good man.

Yeah delighted for him. He’s had some amount of lows in a Scotland top. Been between the posts for a good few drubbings and never been his fault. So delighted he can get this high and credit he deserves. Still remember watching the game he came on as a sub for Celtic as a young lad and saved a Ronaldinho pen.

Englishman here, so pleased Scotland made it. A superb performance, their best in years except for the one lapse, absolutely thrilled for the fans. The guts the team showed in the penalty shootout was something else. Good luck in the Euros, except when you play England of course.

A win and a draw should qualify teams as 4 of the 6 teams who finish third in the groups also qualify. Portugal only got 3 points in the group in the last Euros, finished third, and went on to win it.

As a Republic of Ireland supporter I'm delighted Scotland got through to the euros. seeing the age profiles of the Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland teams are both heading to the football wilderness of International football for the next 10-20 years before even getting into the position of qualifying for any future tournaments.

Englishman here, and I too think it's great to see Scotland in the finals of a major tournament. It's been way too long, especially when you consider that Scotland regularly qualified for finals on a regular basis during the 70s, 80s and 90s. What went wrong? Anyway, hopefully England will give the Scots an overdue spanking at Wembley in June next year!
Politics. Arsehole Machiavellian police being pricks to boys like me and my mates growing up. All we'd do is play football anywhere and anytime we could but police would always chase us away and harass us. Our grassroots football suffered because of it then the government stopped investing as much money into it which pretty much ruined it for years. Just have to look at some of the utter pish players that were capped the last 22 years. Last few years has been better and English clubs being bold and buying some of our players for decent money has been a huge benefit to us. Against Serbia we had Liverpool Arsenal Aston Villa Celtic and Rangers players on the pitch
