As a Celtics fan, I wanted Grant Williams traded for PJ for years. Grant is a miniature PF who is only good when his shot falls. The moment the mavs signed him I said to myself "they better trade him at the deadline" then they did and I knew 100% the mavs got better. Grant's best skill is simultaneously annoying his teammates while hyping up the competition.

I'm sure the Cs win this series in 5 or 6 but Tatum's timid attitude is devastating as a Cs fan. It feels like we have an elite role player at times instead of an All NBA level player. I'm questioning whether we can beat Denver/T-Wolves.
He needs to play like when they were playing against Philly last year.
That's why I've been saying Jaylen Brown needs to be the #1 for like 5 years now. Brown has the fire, he just hides it because he's forced into the #2 role. Tatum and Brown have very similar "game winning shots" numbers, except Tatum takes 95% of game on the line shots and Brown gets like 1 a year. Tatum should have like 50 game winners but instead he has just a few, same as Brown who never gets the ball in the final moments. Tatum should be the #2 and that usage should go to Brown without a second's hesitation.
Jason Tatum is a tame Mamba. Tatum is a really nice guy but, for example, Anthony Edwards has that killing instint that Tatum doesn't.

Without Giddey OKC will lose, not because Giddey is good, he is not, but he is the only one who can actually run point other than SGA, and SGA is the only one who can break Mavs defense with certainty, you have to give SGA help on PG position and Giddey is the only option here, maybe if Chet is older has more point centre in him they don't have to do it, but Chet is not older, he got disoriented in game 2 when the ball reach his hand early in a possession, don't know if he should pass or shoot.

I think the Luka thing can be boiled down to teams play different defense when he’s on the floor AND the offense is guard centric when he’s on the floor. When he’s off (and Kyrie), there’s no one that facilitates for themselves. The ball HAS to move for a bucket to happen. Of course it will move differently. Equally, when Dort isn’t on Luka like white on rice, obviously the ball is gonna move better and more aesthetically.
