Hi Elisa 😊I can’t be more agreed with you about the diagram for rectangular for the skirt part. I would rather save paper for that. I even print all patterns with one side used paper.
Btw I have recently seen a beautiful white square collar sailor blouse in 30’s style that princess Diana wore on one polo match in 1985. She paired it with a pink-blue floral pencil skirt and the combination with puffy sleeves and sleek skirt looks fabulous! I wonder if that could be something that inspires you to make a pattern ☺️

I love this and looks like an easy sew. I will probably cut the facing as a full piece to line the bust depending on what fabric I choose but I'm older than you and probably need more help there lol

Yes it is! It just squatted at the entrance to the rose garden and charged anybody trying to come in before it eventually hid in a bush. It was quite funny
