- Hello everyone, and happy Sunday! This week's design vlog is a little different. I am trying to find 5 new sewing pattern design options for a flurry of releases in April and May, which will be the start of another Sewing Pattern Extravaganza! I will sketch out 5 of my ideas and put them to the test in a poll, where they will be ranked by popularity!

Nooo i live boat necks and could not find many great patterns. I am sure your pattern would be perfect although the dropped waist does not suit my body type but alas. I really like your rediscovery of the wrap dress

I haven't finished the video but the șhirt dress is my favorite so far. In a large abstract print, I need that dress - even a zebra print (a little out of the box but it could be chic)

I wear more basics during colder months and those don't bring me joy to make. Indeed I have accepted my sewing season spring/summer/

I love the look of the boat neck dress, but I do not think I would make it because I know I am not confident about my tummy area, which is why I always wear high waisted designs! I am intrigued by the tiered maxi dress, but like everyone else I would make the wrap dress first! I am picturing mine with a blue geometric print ( I have a few in mind!) but with a contrasting collar/ lapel. I look forward to next week.😊

As a breastfeeding mama, the wrap and shirt dresses are what interest me at the moment. The shirt dress could also be worn as a beach cover up, depending on the fabric. Could the wrap dress work in a sleeveless option? I live in Brazil and am always looking for hot weather friendly patterns 😅
Love to hear it! And yes, the shirt dress would defo be a great beach cover up :) You could certainly ditch the sleeves if this is what you need!
So thrilled to see you're picking the wrap dress pattern idea back up! All your sketches looked super cute and flattering, so I can't wait for that! On the bias cut dress, I was wondering if you were planning on including a view with thicker straps that comes up a little higher at the back (similar to your blue inspiration dress)? I haven't seen any bias cut dress patters like that and have been on the lookout for one for a while now. Looking forward to your next videos! ☺

I liked the cowl neck dress. I need sleeves however, would it be possible to add sleeves as optional?
Potentially not for this one as it will have straps - for sleeves to construction would have to be entirely different. But I am having some ideas!
