impressive xtx!!!
great video, great scenery, great road, great exhaust notes, good riding.
this is so awesome! fantastic riding!
Thats how the engine should sound
we are headed to stelvio pass this summer…can't wait, it's been nearly ten years now. Nice video,
XT____Forever.......Great Machine......The Best
I did the Stelvio pass 4 times with my little yamaha r125 and my friends with 125cc 4strokes ... One of the beast roads in the world in my opinion...
Two beautiful motos.
I could watch this for hours!
The guy on the yam is a really fine driver, I'd be happy to ride this road behind him (me being on my Africa Twin)
une des plus belles vidéos de supermot !!
Read the description :) You can see full episodes 1,2 and 3, and episode 4 is coming!
This was verry amusing to watch👍
When I feel a little blue I take a look at this video and feel alot better!
Thanks!
Yamaha XTX 660 is way more comfy, it's not even a real supermoto given its weight (170kg). And the power difference is also important (48hp for the yam, 67hp for the KTM). The yam has a nice torque though, and this one has a shorter transmission which helps a bit exiting the corners.
good driving !
Nice ride guys, great weather you got there
😱c'est magnifique
awesome video and an awesome road! nice one guy's
I have an XTX 660 with full Leovince, probably 55hp, great.. just what this bike need.. 67hp must be quite brutal on a SM !
75 wheel hp with other exhaust and intake
awesome ride
nice vid guys!!keep it up and safe!
beautiful road , beautiful ride...:)
Che respiro la ktm, che silenziosa eleganza la yamaha.
Rude e passionale o dolce e romantico?
cool ride and road like no center strip to skid on
That beautiful place!
Nice ride. Great
damn! this is so awesome
wow you and your friend are gooood
I can't put the whole google map of the trip because the code is waaaaaay too long for a youtube comment (5000km and about 20 checkpoints).
If you want to know more about the route go on our blog (adress in the description) and watch Roadtrip Supermoto 2012 [prologue] here: watch?v=xiQV2b80Nes
If you want to know more about this particular road, just google "Stelvio Pass" and you will find plenty of information, it's a very famous road :)
woooow what a road!!!
perfect!
hellz yeah.supermoto all day
°For 2 ktm 690 SMC they had Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa
°My 690 had Diablo Supercorsa Pro sc1 front and sc2 for the rear tyre.
°The XTX had a mix of Dragon Supercorsa on the front and Michelin Pilot Road on the rear if my memories are still good.
nice ride!
XT is the Best :::I have One....Top Machine...Red Color
What rear mirror are you using nice ride!
que du bonheur tous ces virolos ! ;-) tu peux me dire ou tu as trouvé ton petit retro rond ? merci ! ;-)
mad skills
nice video
Hot breaking at 3'. !!!chaud le freinage a 3 minutessuperbe filmthanks for shearing
What is that sound that sounds like some sort of raceway as you enter corners?
Wich one do you find better or more enjoyable? if you have tried both that is
good placee men!!!!my next trip!!
Hi, great vid, what camera you use? I'm using a GoPro 4 Black but having real probs with wind noise, tried with external hidden mike but don't get the sound of the Akra, would really appreciate any advice.
is there anywhere where we can see what tipe os mods the yami has? i am really curious xD
You two drive like youre on a race track. Recorded the vid so you can see the scenery after? Nice bikes!
Nice.
It's a very nice video :)
Onde fica esse lugar...que país?
Somente não entendi os veículos vindo em pista contrária e sem sinalização horizontal central.
What do you mean by hard enduro?
write only "passo dello stelvio, Italy" and you got it, i'm going the next year there when i'll get the motorbike because i am near from these beautful roads and Alps :)
You meant the sound what comes when locking rear brake?
Could you put track on google maps from that trip ?
Braaap braaaap!
nice
I love this motorbike!!!!!!
big cinéma! Bravo!
CLASS!! For the critics - Remember "Those who can, do - Those who can't, teach"
Très jolie vidéo pile-poil en harmonie avec la musique.++.
Have you changed the suspension on that xtx?Mine xtx with stock suspension is kinda hard to keep up with 690's on tight turns. That xtx rider is really skilled!
hellonearth69 Yep, the XTX had wilbers progressive fork springs and thicker fork oil (20w instead of 10w), hence a much stiffer front suspension than stock. Helps a lot reducting braking distances
Para mi las dos mejores motos del planeta.......!!!! xtx 660 yamaha y la ktm 690 smc-----!!
With db killer Yamaha?
Haha - wie der Typ bei 04:29 mit seiner Chopper durch die Kurve eiert ist in gleichem Maße entäuschend als auch gefährlich ^^
joar, auch fahrtechnisch fehlt mir da noch ein bisschen was ;)
that road reminds me of a racing game from a couple of years ago! true the tunnel it hit me! i cant remember the game damn
raod rash?
Almost 200 km man!
Enough in Europe ;)
stelvio, some day... :)
italia yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Nice! Ist die Yamaha ohne DB-Killer? MÖRDERSOUND
With oil and a full gas tank maybe?
Das Stilfser-Joch...einer der geilsten Pässe in Südtirol!
The Passo Stelvio, one of the greatest in south tirol, italy!
Try to get over the stelvio, then head to LIVIGNO...nice Pizzas there. Then go thru the tunnel to Switzerland, take the OFENPASS directon Austria, then take the Passo UMBRAIL back to nearly the top of the stelvio! Nice little round with really cheap petrol in Livigno! ;-)
what do you prefer the KTm 690 smc or Yamaha xt660x??? I am asking because I am going to buy a supermoto and I cant deside between these two.
If you're allowed to drive the KTM and can afford it go for the KTM. Its lighter and more powerful. Both are good bikes
It depends on what you're expecting.. KTM is powerfull and needs experience to really "learn" the engine.. Yamaha is more accessible..
I’ll choose the xt. Why? Reliability.
Damn, already busted off the right mirror.
007
the ktm690 is not a 'pure' supermoto, like the exc's or... The only difference between the yamaha and ktm is that the ktm is lighter, powerfull and has a less fuel. But don't underestimate the yamaha, it doesn't look good on papers compared to the ktm, but I can assure u that it will surprise u in every way and that u can haul ass with it. U have to check the ktm like u do with every other motorcycle. But u don't need to change oil every 4 hours like the real 'hard/pure' supermotos.
i love that vid, wnat to buy a chopper. but this would make me smile anyway :D
Nice! The Yamaha has some torque. But yeah KTM it is!!!
watch Top Gear...
would you recommend a supermoto for long touring rides?
Of course ^^ hahahaha
Supermoto is the real deal, good for everything except highways !!
Look the videos on this channel: They rode from France to Sweden and to Croatia. Riding all day on a supermoto is not very comfortable, but its fun! So if you're not a pussy, do it!!
Time to change your front brake fluid :D
the ktm has a surprisingly low fuel consumption as they say on their website.
Pilot powerrrrrrr for the XTX! still michelin crap :P
those Cables on the KTM would drive me nuts, couldn't they have come up with something that doesn't obstruct the view of the dash????
Val Pentony I didn’t notice them until you pointed it out... Now it hurts my eyes watching the rest of the video 😂
Hehe Schaaf, da magst du sound-technisch nicht gaaaaanz mithalten ((-: herrlich die zwei, echt gut gelungen!
Is that graffiti all over those walls?
Real men ride Yamaha clearly a superior bike in every way!
and why the fuck my xtx weight is 198kg? :o
Where is the rest of the trip? Lol
This is not a one way pass. The pussies are waiting for your own video :)
Go buy a Japanese bike hahahahahahahaha
