The way Shields can analyze herself and her opponent during live combat is astonishing.She doesn't even need a corner. Even when her team mentioned heavy weight division she took the logical approach.

Not only was this a fantastic fight for women’s boxing, this was a fantastic fight for boxing period. The explosiveness, work rate and fitness of these fighters (undercards included) has to be appreciated! Hats off to Clarissa for an emphatic win. Just proved she’s the GWOAT 👏

I didn't think Savannah boxed her best was bouncing around everywhere trying the old fury style the erky jerky style as he calls it hahah she was getting caught square on she never sat down on her punches take nothing away from Shields she was brilliant and Savannah put up a hell off a fight just don't think she went in with the right tac tic
Marshall didn't seem herself. She didn't really throw anything with intent and there was no sign of her power.

The skill set timing and work rate for Shields was extremely high level even on the ropes in the philly style defence was top notch great performance

Great atmosphere! Money well spent. As a UK Black, I would say the Brit fans were a little salty and disrespectful, booing a champ and many started to leave b4 the result was called. And I have no idea why so many ppl need to drink and be drunk at a sports event. Shields from her opening dance to dancing around Marshall, was a joy to watch...although a little heart-stopping at times! Well done both!

@@User-dc5ob agreed. No sure what fight people watched but not knowing either fighter that well when I watched this I expected it to be competitive, instead it was one sided from the opening bell. All I saw from Marshall was she is tough and was able to with stand that punishment. Felt sorry for her as she'd been completely outclassed and someone somewhere convinced her she was in with a chance against Shields. It's a shame too as if ever there was a Big mouth personality that needed taken down a peg or two it is definitely Shields. Even looks like Mayweather FFS. Marshal wasn't the person to bring her down though, not a chance.

Clarissa you are a great boxer, as good to watch as any great technician of the sport. Well done. Savannah fought well but on this occasion she couldn’t land that ko punch which is testament to Clarissa’s defence. On balance Clarissa is the best woman’s boxer I’ve ever seen. Also underneath all her bravado she seems like a lovely person too.

We need to remember this past weekend of boxing...the most humility we have ever seen and probably the most major fights we have had in one night...but every single one ended with true sportsman and sportswomanship. This weekend made me realize how beautiful boxing truly is
Claressa first few answers are a great display of her ring IQ. She was doing a lot of quality thinking in a high pressure situation. Thats one critical attribute that separates elite fighters from good fighters. The fight showed that she had the wherewithal to implement the adjustments.
