Those two guys nailed it, as far as it being a close fight. That was a really good/close right. The right person won, but props to Savannah Marshall!
It was not close in my opinion. The fight was extremely competitive but shields won 7 rounds and landed big shots at will the first 5 rounds.
@@talibshakur yea I agree with you. But taking everything into consideration. Shields was up against a bias crowd and Savannah did back her up against the ropes alot. It just concerned me that the refs wouldn't see what you and I saw. Clarissa did land the harder/cleaners shots, but Savannah was the bully in the ring(she blocked a lot of Clarissa shots with her face)
I've never been so excited for a female match before. The hatred between them makes it so much more intriguing. I'm rooting for Marshall.

Its all subjective to be fair and although sadly the skill level and therefore the excitement isn't there with all female fights, yet anyway but the top girls usually deliver and these two should provide a highly entertaining bout. The 2 min rounds help with the pace too I think as they don't have to worry about energy conservation and can just go for it for the whole round. To each their own but I'm pumped for it mate.

Damitary a liar or does not know about women's boxing Nicola Adams was the first women to win two gold medals at the Olympics, and K Taylor the most decorated women from the amateurs with 18 Gold Medals to C Shields 5, and amateur women boxing was not allowed in the Olympics until 2012 so that's not taking away anything from the females who went before, they was not given that opportunity, secondly you cannot compare amateur knockouts to pro knockouts one is over 4 rounds against all and sundry with head protection on, and the others are other 10 rounds, no head protection, but get it C Shields needs those knockouts from the amateurs because the level of opponents are better in the pro ranks, and she simply cannot get them on the nest level up, so they try and drag up things from the amateurs to boost her dismal knockout record in the pros ranks, her team have become desperate , never seen that done before by any male or female fighters, but with the lack of C Shields knockouts in the pros ranks, simply appalling, one of the worst of any female champion, if not the worst, so desperate times calls for desperate measures.
