First the tiramisu recipe, then the marscapone recipe, now a lady fingers recipes. Gemma is clearly telling me that I should make Tiramisu, and I completely agree.
Same here haha
Yeah
Literally why I’m here😂
Why does everything look so easy when Gemma does it? Because she is an excellent teacher!
aw that is really find. I really appreciate that.
I agree!!
Yes! I make butter now following Gemma's recipe!! 🌹🍰🍰🍮🌹
That's true
Yeah!
I really appreciate the fact that you add in notes on substituting out wheat flour. I've been at such a loss on how to bake without wheat flour and it has made me lose my desire to bake. Seeing your notes on being able to sub it with gluten free flour makes me so happy. I never would have guessed I could use another type of flour with lady fingers since they seem so delicate. Thank you Gemma. It means a lot!
I’ve never thought of making my own. Right now I can find them at the dollar tree but after the holidays when they aren’t around as much I can make them. Thanks Gemma! Also, that coffee tiramisu was divine and so easy to make.
I made tiramisu from scratch using your recipes. It was delicious and my family loved it. And it was all freshly made including the cream cheese. Thank you so much!
I know how long I have waited from Gemma's recipe for Homemade Ladyfingers! The wait was real! :)
Thanks Gemma! Here comes the Tiramisu now! :)
Those look delicious! Also 2 Million soon, Gemma

These ladyfingers are so beautiful! I never knew I wanted to make them until I watched this video :-) Thank you Gemma!!
Gemma, you really are a gem! 💎you have made baking look so easy with your beautiful homemade recipes, I live in a tropical country where we don't get half of the ingredients required when baking certain things like for example, lady fingers, I've never ever ever seen them in my country! Unless big bakeries and hotels buy them from suppliers so that's their own thing. And so this means I will now be able to make tiramisu!! Yayy!! Thank you thank you thank you, you beautiful soul 💖💖
Delighted to hear that! Thanks a million for being here :)

Can't wait to try it 😋
Gemma, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I've been trying to make Tiramisu for a long time! Not only did you give us a substitute for the Mascarpone cheese ( which is hard to find in some places ), but also gave us the recipe for the lady fingers! I don't think my store here has that either. Now, I have no excuse whatsoever. I'll definitely have to make it for our Thanks Giving dinner. Thank you SO VERY MUCH from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Erika.
Hi Gemma!! This is an awesome option for me. I have always wanted to make tiramisu and I have never made it since lady fingers are so expensive here in my town, so this might be the long-time desired opportunity to finally get a taste of that delicious masterpiece. Thank you dear!
I had the same problem. And I didn't have time to look for it either. So, the first time I made it, I used plain cookies brought from the store. It was delicious too. My family didn't know the difference. Try it if you want.
But of course, I'm gonna make the lady fingers too, the next time I make it. That's why I came to look for the recipe. Slow and steady does it though.
Thank you Gemma for sharing this recipe. I did have a recipe for this but wasn't bold enough to try. Now I can.
yay! Give it a go!
it's so nice and professional thanks to share it us😊

Hi Mary. You can find the measurements on the recipe link in the description box and on BiggerBolderBaking.com. I don’t include measurements in my video as units change internationally and I’d like to avoid any confusion or exclusion. Plus, my website offers a better experience for reading recipes and has additional tips from other Bold Bakers. Here you go! www.biggerbolderbaking.com/homemade-ladyfingers/ 😊
Just made them and ate one, it’s SO good!! Never had lady fingers alone and went around the whole island (being from Hawai’i) trying to find ladyfingers and never did. Just like you I was like “why don’t I make my own?” and found you as you had the best reviews. Really worth making it and my dad kept insisting it’s too hard to make and doubting my skills. Super delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
That’s fantastic! Well done, you! Thanks for sharing.
Your recipes are the best!

Fantastic recipe. I baked them twice to make them as a biscotti and it was a smashing hit.
That's fantastic! Well done, you!
I am so excited to make these n the mascarpone today. Our local grocery store didn’t have either for the tiramisu I am making tomorrow so I am relieved to see how easy both are to make. 🙏🏻💖
Hope you get on well with all and enjoy!
Awesome recipe
Hi Gemma, just to tell you that i just made this yesterday for the first time in my life and i succeeded. We malaysia here now is having "restricted movement order" due to the covid19,so i didn't go out to buy cream. Hence just use your method of the cream cheese and this ladyfingers.
You always gave me gorgeous recipes to make amazing foods. Thanks so much😘
Well done Ai Wah. I'm delighted to hear that despite the situation around the world.
Yummy! Beautiful lady fingers!
Thank you so much.It helped me alot
You're welcome!
Love you Gemma... in my country Ladyfinger is not available so now I can make my favourite dessert tiramisu at anytime anywhere. You make things very convenient for us.
Very happy to hear that!
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
FANTASTIC!!! I made a gluten-free / gluten-free version! (used ground potato flakes instead of flour, subbed 1:1). They're delish! Best and easiest vid indeedy. :)
I was looking for a recipe for ones that are 'kosher for passover', because those are the ones I had and LOVED as a kid. I've since bought the regular Italian ones they sell in grocery stores, which taste great of course, but not the same exact taste and texture that I missed. (hey sometimes you don't want the *real kind* haha).
Well, since I've recently started baking, I looked recipes for the 'kosher for passover' ones, but couldn't find much. so I looked up the product and read the ingredients, and turns out the key difference is the 'kosher for passover' ones are actually gluten-fee (and dairy free of course) -- so you don't use flour. Instead, they listed potato starch.
I didn't have any potato starch so used dried potato flakes 1:1 to replace the flour -- yep, the ones you buy for instant mashed potatoes -- and ground them up further first. Corn starch also could work as a substitute as it's similar to potato starch (but haven't tried it yet so not sure about if you do 1:1 and if the taste will be very diff.). I also added a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring. Also gonna attempt the regular way and then also with almond flour just to see how they taste.
Can't believe I'm this early!! Been here when Gemma was still under a million subs and it's amazing to watch your channel grow so much !!
Thanks for being apart of the Bold Baking community Claudia! The best is yet to come :)
@@biggerbolderbaking you're welcome Gemma !! ☺ really looking forward to more creations
Looks yummy! It kind of looks like what we call in France "boudoirs" or "biscuit à la cuiller". I know that i use one of these to make tiramisu!
C'est exactement les mêmes, juste l'appelation en anglais qui "lady fingers".Introuvable là où je vis aux USA.
Gemma you'r like baking Goddess! !
Thank you!
Just in time😊
Ladyfingers are more expensive than ordinary biscuits here in Philippines. I never knew its just egg, sugar, and flour. I hope to bake it one day. Thanks Gemma! ❤️
