- In todays chivalry 2 gameplays I am using the longsword playing in Tournament Grounds MFL. This is the highest skill lobby ever assembled in Chivalry 2, this is a factual statement. Loaded with some of the best players in the world. I am using my customary longsword in first person & this is a great chance for me to prove to the "Elitists" that I belong in these settings.

Hey Stridah, been a big fan since about March when I redownloaded chiv 2 on Xbox. You and ziggy have both been helpful in getting me to be actually competitive in lobbies so it was unfortunate that ziggy wasn’t giving you the respect you deserve, but it is most definitely recognized. For real people underestimate the extra work involved in first person. If stridah has gone down that path there’d likely be zero dispute about him being one of the top elite players.
Watching these top tier games shows just how large the skill gap is between a regular player like myself and everyone in top tier. When I first started I couldn’t even do anything else other than block, slash, block. Watching how you combo your attacks and doing faints and moving/positioning yourself in 1vX situations has helped me do the same. I went from not being able to win a single 1v1 with even a fast weapon to being capable of holding my own in small groups and having a good chance at winning my 1v1s against players way higher than me. I still have a long way to go but your videos are not only entertaining but extremely full of information, tactics and strategies to gain more kills and do better

Been in plenty of pubs games where I’ve seen ziggy quit out of in frustration lol, weird comments from that guy here definitely comes off as the type to sniff his own farts in a wine glass when it comes to chiv. Feel like stridah should have earned some respect here
@@642BigT fr, zig got me into chiv 2 and his guides helped me understand the game well so props for that, but his personality is insufferably self centered. Rly couldn't take it anymore when he went on a total whinefest when they changed the server location/provider in US central, and he went on about how getting a WHOPPING 30 ping destroyed his ability to play instead of his usual 20, when some of the best duelists are well outside desired distances for good ping, yet perform excellently in comp... lol

I’ve played sun god a few times. As a fellow war hammer enthusiast I like him. I’m west coast so those are the servers I play on. Sadly east and west don’t know much about each other. West coast has some good players….

Hey I've seen you in game before. I don't think the comments about your skill are warranted, but based off this video I do have some suggestions. I'm mostly sharing this as a way for others to learn as well - I think it's great that people recognize your talent but I also think people can use that as a way to learn as. This is no way, shape or form an indictment on you. I used to run training servers for chiv1/mordhau and will again once dedicated servers are out for chiv 2... so I just enjoy giving too much advice I guess!
I don't know how often you duel or not but there are a couple habits I noticed in both your 1vXs and 1v1s in this video that I think could help you out. The first of which - especially in your 1v1s is that you hold block after every single strike. This would be something I'd punish very quickly and would let you waste your stam or feint-kick into your block. There were several instances in this video you lost your weapon because 40-50% of your stam went to holding block when you shouldn't have. Secondly, there were a lot of opportunities in the 1vXs to throw some jabs. I notice you did some for a 1v1 but most high level players (especially most the duelists I recognized in the video) don't expect a jab during a 1vX. I think I counted five or six opportunities you had to nab their initiative in this video. Finally, I realize it's 1vX and you have your chat going so it may be difficult to hear/notice when in first person-view, but several instances when you got flanked you could hear the enemy before they hit you. For me - my instinct is to instantly gamble a dodge if I can't distinctly tell which direction they are from but in these cases it was more predictable.
I've been invited to these events before, perhaps I'll join the next one and see you on the frontlines! Looking forward to more content, thank you for sharing it.

@@StridahsAngels Welp, the advice is more for other readers who might be learning. With that said, there isn't a player in that lobby I haven't competed against. I've taken part in largescale lobbies like this and have dueled against every player I could see their names on there. A lot of them are my friends on Epic/Steam. Most those names there I've beaten and have beaten me in duels. It's not anything to brag about - I know based off experience I already can (and do) play in these lobbies.

I have improved significantly in just 2 weeks. I usually get in about 5 hours afternoon and I still make noob mistakes cuz I'm still a newb, but I'll be dammed if I won't take out the no lives a couple times. I've learned alot from the 1v1 servers
i do find him entertaining but ziggy plays mainly in 3rd person which is basically chiv ez mode. youve played against him in these comp matches before and i'm sure outscored him.

I asked you recently about your dpi settings, tested them and came to a conclusion that it is not enough, which I kinda see proof. Even yourself in this video miss some blocks / attacks just because you couldnt turn in time.
Also, why keeping horn for so long, you died like 4 times in a row with horn ready (at the begining)
I guess so low sens gives you insane precision, but I dont know if its worth for being nearly defenseless from flanking attacks

For starters saying someone is on the lower end of a group of elites is not disrespectful. Second nearly every fight you won a teammate came and killed you opponent from behind or you killed someone a teammate was fighting from behind. Better then me no disrespectful, just your monologue in the start makes it sound like your lopping the lobby and that’s just not the case. You played well and are good but the attitude at the start is cap
You must me brain dead the entire comp game is about fighting with team mates and taking advantage of position and awareness mistakes. No one in the lobby wants to get in a 1 v 1 if you do it means you fucked up
