Merrill Hall Demolition Ceremony

The destruction of Merril Hall during the March 19, 2018 tornado, displaced faculty, staff, and students from one of the largest units on campus, but a short-term solution was found on the site of the former Kitty Stone Elementary School.
On July 29 Jacksonville State University hosted a short ceremony at Merrill Hall to give business faculty, staff, students and alumni the opportunity to say goodbye to the nearly 50-year-old campus icon.
