Jax State Marching Southerners Perform for 80th D-Day Anniversary - June 6th, 2024

Jacksonville State University’s Marching Southerners had the honor of representing the United States at the Liberation Memorial Ceremony held at Brittany American Cemetery on June 6th, 2024 in France. We are incredibly grateful for this experience and for the heroes of D-Day.

GREAT piece of music from "Saving Pt. Ryan" by John Williams. Jacksonville State has a GREAT BAND, especially the TROMBONE section. I admit I'm prejudiced. Normandy is truly "Hallowed Ground".
