It was not intentional and in not populated spot publicly known (weed spot but cops dont know that or shouldnt). Really just unlucky but he should get like off duty for that if Every other cop was treated same way but They do x100 worse intentionally and face no punishment

I don't mind the dap system bc just like Citizens have consequences for doing crime, Cops have consequences for bad policing. What I didn't enjoy is how the Captains immediately implemented it as a punishment in scenarios where there won't any procedures in places. Personally I didn't want Officer Den to be suspended but watching Dean Q the civilian interacting with regular citizens has been a ton more fun without the power dynamic between them. I realized Cop RP has too many Egos while Citizen RP is about making new connections.
There's no real consequences for citizens doing crime aside from the G6 felony changes because people with clean records usually get a break the first few times if they RP it and it's not a big crime and anyone without one is a career criminal anyway, what's another felony unless you're someone like Ramee playing a corrupt lawyer?
A few cops have talked about how the DAPs should work and how it should be based on time on duty (or potentially on duty), not IRL 60 days, even cops with zero DAPs disagree with the system.

Den kinda deserved in game punishment, but firing him is crazy. He is a decent cop. 4.0 is heading in a worse direction than 3.0, and Wrangler and Pred aren't here to catch blame. Can they hire actual roleplayers to PD that aren't W chasing crackheads??
It’s a self fulfilling prophecy. They hire people to be cops but these people are the types that rely on PD for RP typically. As a result, you get people who become too into the power tripping temptation of having that authority.
High command is just too serious to a point in which is ruins content. Theyre firing one of good content cops.

Think people forget that 4 of Dens daps were because mizkif beat up erobb in game. Then 3 more basically for riding in the back of a g6 truck 15 minutes before tsunami and aziz escalating. Saying in court that rolled bills don't have a serial number (which is what he was told by a CI) and having Ruth argue "what do you mean they are just rolled up, it can see the serial right there". Then of course this situation for the last one. I think they are using daps to punish people for the wrong stuff. Getting punished for a mistake or even another person's mistake is ridiculous and anti fun in my opinion.

Honestly, this current PD is a joke. Everyone would agree that this is RP server and the cops should be softer, easy on the crims, etc... But i think that has no sence, dont see the point, the rule of the cops at that scenario, i want to see more aggressive and serious PD rp reactions.
