Just so you know, the notes in the smoke alarm isn’t always a perfect g or g# it sometimes is g half sharp or g 3/4 sharp like make 38 to 50 cents above or below tuning
@@bryanli316 oh my bad
The notes in smoke detectors aren’t always the exact notes in 12 tet or edo tuning we use there can be notes that are actually in between called microtonal. Most popular ones are 24tet or quarter tone
6:15 those alarms that are broken are fire-X
This man took Fire safety to another level!
🚽🚪🛏️🛌🪟🧯🪔
Yh. They probably have every single alarm ever made in England.
“ *tests first alarm* “
“oh wait i forgot my ear protecters-“
I forgot to turn down my volume. I got the surprise of my life 🤣

Your collection is so cool I want to start one too
Definitely my favorite video from you since this was the reason why I not only started to like fire alarms/smoke alarms, it built my CZcams channel and grew my collections. Big thanks to you for this video that us smoke alarm enthusiasts grew up watching.
9:57 those were litteraly everywhere at my old aunt's house.
wow, this is one of the weirdest collections I have ever seen. Congratulations by the way for both collections!
5y
I saw a ceiling mount version of the edwards smoke alarm with strobe in a (somewhat) dorm at a national park.
Would the worst level anxiety be if all of his collection of alarms went off at night at the same time
Including the fire alarms. They are very loud, and they are right next to his bed. I bet that would be fun.
Kiddie p3010b be like: BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP Fire vroom
Well, they wouldn’t right?
I love the sound of the Nest Protect Smoke Alarm.
Same and I have one
10:49 “testing the alarm is loud this is only a test the test will start in 10 seconds 10 1 6 8 4 3 7 beep beep beep”
10:31 Nest Protect
Red Crewmate ?
12:08 that looks like the masterguard with the hearing impaired strobe protruding from the tan box.
5:12 I still have 2 of those in my house and still work fine. Though, I do have a new 10 year life First Alert smoke detector that was in a 2 pack at Costco that's right in front of it.
2:03 Well known by Photoelectric Elevators as the PLEASE SEE MANUEL alarm
Its cool to see people who are so passionate about random things
Awesome collection dude!!!!
Thanks man!!
I have a Kidde i9010 in my room! (There was none at first)
My dad’s house had like 5 Kidde 0115s but they were replaced with some of the first smoke alarms you showed here!
*Fire in your house* alarms: WAKE UP THERES A FIRE IN THE KAICHEN GET UP AND GET OUT NOW
My favorite smoke alarms are the ones that can talk. ESPECIALLY THE NEST PROTECT!!!
Enzo Kindrick I also liked the FIRST ALERT SA511.
Imagine all the detectors going off at once!
My oldest smoke detector was the i4618A
S.E.R. Safety, I'm thinking of starting my own fire alarm system too. Do you have any advice? And I might start with smoke alarms too.
great idea..
It's cool that you've got a couple alarms that do the marchtime signal from before the T-3 / code-3 signal becoming the norm.
My 4 yo loves this video!!
what if there was a fire in his home and every one of those things went off
Some guy with Glasses Well that fucker better gtfo before his ears bleed.
He wouldn't miss the fire
Lol
Imagine all the battery is going dead or if he had roaches in his house
Some guy with Glasses He is gonna get his hearing protection.
Really cool that you collect these. I have a really old one in my house from 1977 or 1985 I would guess (built in ‘77, remodel in ‘85), prior to us buying the house. Was about to attach a photo here, but I guess I’m not allowed to.
All of the smoke alarms in my house are all connected so they all go off at the same time. SOOOOOO SAFE!!!
Oh no!
t is it loud
Dang, man!!!! So many freaking alarms!!! Where do you get all the money for these? I get most of mine for Christmas or if I find money somewhere. Which is rarely.
Money? Its a flipping smoke arlarm
ear protection is vital to collecting alarms!
6:26 I got that alarm today made in 2002 its a FIREX 120-1125C photoelectric smoke alarm
Same
10:35 Wow someone bribed the video editor
Just for your info, NFPA uses the term Smoke Detector for a device that connects to a control panel, and Smoke Alarm for a standalone, or Single/Multiple station device/s
Cool smoke detector collection!!!!:)
really good safety
I like the 770lbx. That sounds cool
Awesome! You have some really cool smoke alarms!
Thank you!! :D
Yeah
I believe mine is also malfunctioning like the one at 6:33 cause when I test it it’s also quiet, and is the probably only alarm that hasn’t been replaced after the house has been renovated
I have the KN-COSM-B. But we had to remove it because of speaker malfunction. It kept on beeping every minute.
I got a question SER safety what inspired you all about pull stations in the first place
9:32 "I don't recommend installing these..."
Damnit.
The batteries needs to be change rapidely
It goes off randomly, even though it has a new battery and is 2-3 years old, and the battery drains very fast.
Im just pissed because my home is full of these
@@wigwagstudios2474 I feel you bro, it's happened before.
6:30 I bought one of those exact alarms brand new on ebay and it made that exact noise!
Holy cow!!!!!!! That's a lots of fire alarm
The nest fire alarm was really cool
Going down, we’ve got- BEEP! Woah
Who owns these things?
i like to collect smoke alarms, i like the way they beep, that is so sick.
The last smoke alarm you tested the fg200, those are sold to put in camper trailers, and RVs, but even for campers, I recommend a good one, like a kiddie nighthawk
Wait i thought there was a recall with the nighthawk-
@@hookerman412It's the IB
My old house way back around 12 years ago had an alarm that looked identical to the KN-COSM, but it had no voice and did code 1 not code 3.
Hey ser safety how many smoke detectors do you have in your collection
Anyone in California having problems with First Alert slim smoke "defecter"? Thank you for this video, btw. For all the jokes people make about collecting them, it's the best concise guide you'll find in one place.
One way to know if a smoke alarm is old is if it doesn’t do the temporal 3 alarm sound.
Thanks for taking the time to play the sounds. Not all smoke detector beepers set off Alexa Guardian alerts. Now Alexa will fire off a notification from my 12v burglar alarm bell with a smoke detector attached.
I have a question I have been trying to get to the bottom of. When I was a kid and lived in Syracuse, UT we had smoke alarms that looked identical to Firex, but they sounded like fire alarms like the steady buzz sound. What were those things? They were interconnected too we had one in the basement and one upstairs.
3 years late but I believe years and years ago, smoke alarms used to buzz. It probably was firex.
11:38 it’s like a GX90
I don’t know if you can help me, but I’m mildly autistic and my hearing is highly sensitive. Do you know if any low pitch smoke alarms please as the ones I got are to loud for my ears and I currently have the BRK 670MBX
also the sa150lt you have is cool bc you an wave a incandescent flashlight at it and it will sound. its got first alerts light test feature. nice video btw
Lol I used to be afraid of the smoke detector in my home because it went off once (no fire) and scared me, and when I found out smoke detectors use light internally I was afraid to shine one near mine because I thought it might go off.
jack williamson I agree that is cool, but what if you accidentally shine light on it. That's gotta suck hahaba
flarn2006 I'm 18 and I'm still afraid of alarms, ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-
Yeah I learned the hard way about First Alert’s flashlight test feature. I was like 5. 6am snow day. I’m bored playing with a flash light and shine it at the First Alert in my bedroom. 5 seconds later beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep! Woke my mom and dad up and they freaked thinking there was a fire. At 5 it freaked me the hell out lol
Cool! Awesome video as always!
Nice collection. I know a few therapists in your area if you’re ever feeling down.
I love it I wish I had that many
Safe to say if this guys house burns down, he'll be out in 2 seconds 🤣🤣 imagine all of those going off
I really like that Nest Protect when it doesn't go off instantly when you test it.
We don't have a smoke alarm for our extra room so I'm planning it to be a 770LBX
S.E.R. Safety: **cookes literally anything in the kitchen**
All of the smoke alarms: *I'm about to end this man's whole career.*
Imagine trying to silence all of those lol
lushbeta, oof
I be bashing them off the wall with a baseball bat and ripping the battery out
LOL, at some point I'm thinking about searching for one of those smoke detectors that can power fire alarms so I can finally put my Spectralert Advance PC2W to use.
@@sethhorst6158 get a kidde hardwired wired smoke alarm and buy a kidde relay and follow the instructions and you will be able to make your PC2W go off
11:37 Woah!! 😂😂
9:33 at lest they are UL listed and here British safety standerd
ehh no
We have the same thing as the pc900v dual smoke/co alarm, but larger and round and called the pc1200v. It is in the kitchen and not yet installed. They are photoelectric.
The one in my kitchen is 4:05
3:24 I thought you said SMOKE
He said smoke & CO
I bet N. Lind would love your collection
2:28 love that horn
Very nice collection!
Great video 😀👍👍
Do you know how to get the Gentex smoke alarm with strobe? My ASL (American Sign Language) is completely Deaf
I like the nest protect.🥰
Those two alarms that have big lights made me think they are scary.
lol sometimes I have same thoughts
they’re in a wendys bathroom in my area, they do feel creepy somehow
@@ntekniklaus3710 At least the Wendy's bathroom doesn't have any Spectralert Advance hornstrobes.
@@sethhorst6158 yeah but i've seen those gentex horn/strobe smoke alarms in my local one
Lol nice way to clean up 😀
The i4618A is one and/or one similar to the ones we had in our old apartment back in 2015. Now in our house, we have a Kidde in each bedroom.
Do you know what could have happened if someone got caught with that??
My fav is the Gentex plug in smoke alarm with strobe, but they are so pricy
I love wacky collections lmfao
Y to use the gym gym time and gym to get
Imagine the Gentex detector sounded like a Commander 3
“10, 9, 1, 5, 2, 6, 8, This is only a test.” Good thing it wasn’t a math test.

If it’s teacher was dumber than the nest protect it would have given it a 274.K%

8:50 i had that smoke alarm in my room but it was under knighthawk branding and also i like the kidde smoke alarms when she sounds so cheerful
This is so cool!
Awsome video!!!!!!!! Quick question we're can I find voice evac message for speaker strobes? Like your wheelock message
your house must be the safest in a whole Country
Wow this is an awesome collection. I thought you had one of the BRK 4120B’s from your old house though. Did you keep it?
King Ser safety did you have a fg200 installed in your house before?
I love the smaller the one that has a note going to the high pitched note I want that one
That last one you tested. I have one of those in my grandpas camper
I have the nest protect, I love it, I’ve loved smoke/fire alarms since I was 6, and I got my nest protect on Christmas when I was 7.
I don't
6:34 very common problem with these. Surprised they weren't recalled.
3:09 this one sounds like a first gen est genesis/ est integrity
The I 9010 smoke alarms are in my house lol
The kiddie nighthawk watchmen are the best designed and the best value for your moneys as for in fire alarm/Co2 carbon monoxide detectors.I have it for more 10 years. It stills working fine..
6:32 turn up your volume to hear the horn
Alen 2019 that smoke alarm is in my house but it still works and it is from FireX
I got that
That’s a smol squeaker of a smoke alarm XD
@@dexterthewulf3637 XD LOL
I've been watching you since 2020 and I'm 7 years old
Awesome video!
I have one of those single button Kidde smoke alarms. Haven't seen another one until now
