Hi Hannah absolutely love your garden and reveals, I've been watching your channel for some time, just a suggestion though as I do this and it saves time 😊 you can leave most of your decorations up, as it's covered, they will be protected from wind and adverse weather we get 👍🏾 obviously remove the glass ornaments... my thatch roof keeps shedding too at one point I thought a family of mice might be nesting up there... but it's apparently just natural and the wind/ as I don't cover my bar it's under my pergola ❤
Thanks for watching! I get quite a lot of cobwebs in the bar over winter so I just prefer to take everything out so that I can give it a good clean before I put it all back 🌺☀️💚

I always look forward to your tropical garden uncovering in the spring. Here in Northern Illinois, we had late frosts and even snow well into April, but it it full blown summer here now! Enjoy Summer 2023!

Thank you 🙃🌺🌿 My 5 too plants for a Uk tropical garden would have to be musa basjoo, dicksonia Antarctica, trachycarpus wagnerianus (or fortunei), canna lilies and Fatsia japonica. So hard to choose just 5 😁🌿
Is that teak and holly decking that you need to sand? I noticed the Malibu rum....have you tried Kōloa Rum? I traded the Malibu in for the latter and never looked back. 😂 And happy early birthday! 🎉🎂😁

Great seeing the Tiki bar again, how high do you think your banana plant will get this year? This will be the second year for us and our biggest banana plant got about 5 feet which we were quite impressed with, thanks for sharing your beautiful garden with us.
I got some tiki roofing from a company called Mooba. I paid £16.50 each for 2m x 70cm panels, but they do smaller panels. It’s very good quality and delivery time is quick

❤❤💥💥💝💝HAPPY BIRTHDAY 💝💝💥💥❤❤ Love the Tiki Bar and the garden is looking great so far. When you were getting the ornaments out of the box just to the left, I thought you had Mary Poppins valise with you. Nice to watch you work. I finally got a houseplant. Couldn't find the one you suggested, so I got a Nematanthus (goldfish plant) in a small hanging pot. Nowhere to hang it so it sits atop my printer. Bottom of the pot was circular so I stuck the whole thing in a plastic food container with a square bottom. Says to mist it often but so far I just flick wet fingers at it and take it into the bath room when I have my shower. Two hours a day direct sun on the balcony when I am home, otherwise it sits by the window facing south. After a week, it hasn't died yet so things are looking you. Once again, happy birthday.

I’m not going to buy any more rare anthuriums as I just don’t have the right humidity levels for them, but enjoyed having some in my collection for a while (still have some of them but they don’t look too happy 😆) Thanks for watching 😀🌴🌺

We haven't got storage space indoors for garden ornaments. Do you think they would survive winter inside the tiki bar if it's covered?
I put most of mine in a large air tight plastic storage box inside the bar over winter ❄️ 🌺🌴
Correction: After a week, it hasn't died yet so things are looking up. Once again, happy birthday.
