It just hit me that maybe that's what it is:
Link putting on a mask being actually just a YLink voice clip pitched down.
Same thing happened to me when I realized that the sound when Jigglypuff Rest connects or when Home Run Bat hits, is just the original hit sound from 64 but pitched up.

@@PureChaosTV because wobbling is so much easier than any of the infinites not currently banned (and it has no counterplay)
PureChaosTV, Wobbling can be done anywhere on the stage, less technical, and much easier to start.

2. You can't tech footstools.
There was no way he could've gotten out of that.
@@jsrhedgehog9981 They were down throw -> Nana footstool -> neutral B jab lock -> Blizzard loops, and footstools are definitely techable in Ultimate, which is why you don't see as many footstool combos from characters like Greninja as you did in Smash 4, where they were untechable.

@@mac_sour you can't tech that at all cuz a footstool of stage is instant death from helpless. Basically killing any chance to come back

It was kinda dumb to do the infinite so long at a event Sakurai was watching =b you risk the character getting nerfs to remove the infinite which could effect them in other ways.
True. Also it was kinda unnecessary doing it for so long. The Cloud was at such high percent, just make sure the percents are high enough and take the stock already...

@@nlevel8045 In the American rule set you can't do the infinite past 300%. It's considered a time stall beyond that, which makes you forfeit the match =b
Imo, that may have been his goal, similar to the time the bayo combo where they did it right in front of sakurai to make the point that she still needed nerfs.
@@vla1ne yes, but Bayo was a broken character, diddy is only mid tier in this game =b As much as nobody like infinites, I think 300% is good enough to make a point where they make a small fix, like with Duck Hunt/Megaman. Doing it for this long may make them nerf Diddy in general, as they just see him as broken.
