Introducing a brand new series for you all, the history of Atlas Gunworks! From time to time, Adam will be going over specific guns from our past, as well sharing some backstory on them and the industry.
Love the work you all do, inspirational to say the least. I'm on custom build number 2, first one was really near perfect. I'm buying almost everything through you guys. I app4 your educational sites too, but help to the community. Thanks Adam
Interesting video Adam. You built me a limited gun in .40 that I received around June, 2015. It was a real beauty and flat shooter. Tri topped, SV Signature Grip, PT SDC frame, KKM Bull Barrel, all coated in NP3. Ended up selling it when I started shooting Open unfortunately. Only thing I would have changed on that gun was the coating--NP3 was too slick to be able to get a good grip on the slide and the serrations were pretty tame. Still buying parts from you guys all these years later.
I have a Hyperion with a cheely grip and a VTC serial number on the frame. Curious to see what that means since you said they used to have AGW on there for the Phoenix frames.
VT means we made the frame in Vermont. C is for Cheely grip design on the frame lugs. AGW is the old frames PT made for us before we could make them in house.
Adam, please stop making videos and get my Athena done, joking. Great video, I appreciate the history, I should probably do a couple of videos on my company's history as well. Customers ask me and I say it over and over. Fortunately I kept and still have my first prototype and will never sell it. ;)
Hard Chrome is becoming or has become a dying art in the USA. We are unaware of any current Hard Chroming company that can properly do gun parts. Our commitment to quality has us on a hard pause.
Love videos like this, especially for fans and enthusiasts, Great work, cant wait for Pt 2

I still regret selling my Atlas Custom Carry - maybe one day I'll own it again!

@@AtlasGunworks thanks for the info!
Hello Adam, how you doing bruh? Still waiting for my Apollo can't wait to get it. It hurts that we can't get nickel chrome any more. 😎

ABMV "Always be making video" LOL when not doing all the other work.
Now that I’m part of the Atlas Gunworks family can I get an invite to the bourbon lounge? I’ll bring the cigars.
Need something 3.5 to compete w/ CS !!
We are a couple years away from time to do anything less than 4.25. We will get to that project at some point.
@@AtlasGunworks Yes, love the concept of the Ares/EOS! Just want something for EDC in a more practical sense. Thanks for update!
Any chance y’all have looked at silver DLC? I’ve been trying to hunt down an old hard chrome atlas but they are few and far between.
We are working on that now. Should see something this year.
@@AtlasGunworks best news ever! Thanks
@@AtlasGunworks love it . I have an Artemis . Will wait to see the new finish and def purchase . Thanks
Adam, are Atlas ever going to make a custom single stack 1911 ever again?
We might someday. We would need to make the frames to make one that meet our current quality level. That's a big project.
👋
How many guns do you produce a month now
200+
When you bringing hard chrome back ?

Do you know anyone that is still willing to make a one-off gun?

@@AtlasGunworks thank you brother. I’ll let them know you sent me 🫡
Whoever filmed and edited this video should be fired. The quality of focus, lighting, etc is terrible. 😂😂😂
