this is so chilling. it’s not like a simple sound effect in a movie or something, no, this is _real._ this is the real sound of the most mysterious anomalies in the universe.
neil deGrasse tyson vibes
Hey it's our holli mantra it is
Its fake
well the actual frequencies are is far too low to hear
Its really not tho. This sound is only based on EMF emission waves not actual sound of black hole......
I love how it closely resembles how a lot of us imagined it to sound like.
Because we thought it would sound like th sun, since it's the result if a collapsed star
@@MakhaiX377 czcams.com/video/uPXav2-MNgo/video.html
I didn’t imagine it to sound like anything tbh
Space is mysterious.
i’m chilling out as i listen. it’s a frequency match. feels like drugs? this light sounding one sucks tho. kinda like how we feel before we do something bad without feeling guilty. ok ok i like the last part at the end. you need the chilling sound mixed with a low soothing tone . and that makes the high tone sound annoying sometimes. too soothing for only guilt . tormented souls maybe ? we can’t be the realistic one. we like getting that chill. that was chill? i like a nice breeze. woah that was creepy? woaaah. chill out bruhhh :0 only sounds cool when your mad if i say it in a creepy way like i some how got your back up in a way i’ll go get back to myself as in let’s find out why . idk why why that last part makes senseless mistakes. is that it? am i right. what if that’s just what they mean by frequencies. the way you make it sound. man everything got sound. planets talking to us even black hole
I am disgustingly fascinated by the coo of this sound. Our brains are constantly trying to find something that it "sounds like" but can't. That's just it. It's own unique sound. Brilliant.

Think about this. This sound is coming from 250 million light years away.
5,878,625,370,000 x 250,000,000. That’s how many miles we’re talking about away. That’s incomprehensible. And we have tools to generate audio from that event. That’s egregiously awesome!!!!!!
Or egregiously fake
@@BootinMySnake Yeah as if NASA has something to gain from chtulhu
@@AlterRektMLG yes
That sound is predicted. It is not captured as sound cannot travel much in space. You calculate the wave amplitudes and frequencies and finally compute them to make Cimputer Generated sound.
@@AlterRektMLG they do
What’s crazy is that the sound is actually to low for us to hear and the sound we hear is 58 octaves higher
58 octaves ? That's insane

@@carocmart220 Hi
that's the sound of it ripping apart matter and light at unimaginable speeds
That’s mad we can listen to a black hole on our smart phone in 2022, why has this not been celebrated more, make you sad that space exploration is hardly mentioned.
The only reason I found this and I generally keep up with space, was because of the bottom of the page of yahoo news
It's disappointing that we don't have a bigger presence in space.
@@victorsaenz9452 I’m just awaiting for the galactic federation to accept us

Sounds exactly like what I imagined: The sound of weird ass stuff going down. Time and space all freaky.

I'm a nearly 50 yr old (goofus/doofus) lady person ✌️ I think in true dude speak there would have needed to be a "gnarrrrrrly" or a "siiiiiickkkkk" in there somewhere....In any case, as we hurtle through spacetime with the great pulsing black hole overlords drawing us to oblivion, it all resolves itself in the end 👍🌀⚫

Space is so cool...
This legitimately sounds like an object that would bend space and time. Absolutely amazing!!!
1000 years later: early attempts to communicate with earth were complicated by gravitational warp effects, which turned what was supposed to be a soothing message of reassurance sound like this
This sound could terrify so many, eery, and yet compulsive listening...
This is actually amazing. When in your lifetime would anyone think you could hear something like a black hole so far away and so magnificent, our minds cannot comprehend.
How can a black hole make sound because there is no medium in space.
@@rohitpoddar268You are almost correct in your observation. There is a vacuum in space. Black holes can emit waves which can then be translated into sound
If you watch the video explaining how they recorded it, apparently the actual sound is 57 octaves lower than what we could actually hear, so the sound is 57 octaves higher in pitch - crazy!
It's like what I imagine Giygas sounds like. Just garbled noise evoking eerie words and apparitions floating through your mind.
Earthbound be wild
it’s terrifying because it sounds like something from a movie. but this time it’s a real sound that a real thing makes.
only black holes aren't real
Actually space is completely silent, this is just the sound it was predicted these space objects would create if they were able to
@@cris8627 no black holes can sometimes make sound, let me explain. When black holes are swallowing up matter from stars, they make the matter move in waves (sound waves) because of how fast they’re spinning. granted we can’t actually hear the sound because the oscillations are so huge, this is about 50 quadrillion times higher pitched than the actual sound
Sounds like your normal ambient sound in Silent Hill

Star Trek, the original series, used this sound 50 years ago
I'm already thinking of making a track with this as the background pad, lol

The second sounds so safe, even sounds like music.
Imagine there was an atmosphere big enough to fit a black hole. Okay, good. Now imagine what it would sound like in that atmosphere.
probably very loud ear piercing microphone feedback
First off. Some black holes are the size of a literal penny, so earth’s atmosphere would be more than enough. Second, you would probably hear nothing other than screams and earth matter being sucked in. AKA the black hole itsself would not make even a single sound.
@@FrankfurterWurst I mean that DOES make sense, thank you
@engineer gaming yeah, sound doesn’t exist in space due to a lack of a “material” for sound to travel in. Electromagnetic waves do exist, and via radiotelescopes you can convert electromagnetic waves into sound waves!
