throwback to when the top team was Bariss, Nihilus, Thrawn, and Kylo Ren (I don't remember the 5th but i think it was Ezra and i dont remember who the lead was). I personally like the regression to random team comps cuz its kinda fun seeing ppl who shouldnt work together do

@@unraveki Both. Since Reva doesn’t have full Inquisitor synergy she can’t do much to deal with GAS at all, and whenever Rex dispels debuffs the 501st gets absolutely overloaded with turn meter. Rey can hit her stupid ultimate as much as she wants but as long as GAS is standing while that happens, the 501st is invincible to it. Also GAS can just focus in on Rey and Reva and perma kill them.
Edit: but what is optimal is the OG GAS lineup since CRex doesn’t gain invincibility while GAS is standing and also shuts down Hero with no fear, which can be crucial for GAS’ damage output and longevity in the advance state.
@@SaxyKnight I haven't gotten it to work. Rey does her ultimate to get Anakin down, then whirlwinds the clones. Game over And I can't dent her protection.

Reminds me of how I used to contruct magic the gathering decks I d construct a process that would be awesome if it ever came to fruition but it was essentially such a low chance of happening that it made it pointless.

Rey can be an actual decent plug n play character, even being a GL. Bit expensive tho. Also, this D-WORD IS GETTING OUT OF HAND. Ah, back in the day, before GLs.
Hey Ahnaldt, been really enjoying your videos recently although I‘m not into swgoh anymore. I wanna start playing again from the beginning, so I‘m wondering when a new farming guide will drop. You said you will tackle the update after releasing you music vid. Can you give me a brief estimation? If not, do you still recommend going for imperial troopers in the beginning with CLS?
It wouldn’t come out until likely end of May at the earliest. I’d still make your early game focus around Command Luke as well as Imperial Troopers.

Resistance with hold cron is kinda cracked right now though, so its not that bad of a transaction but then you remember that imperial troopers can also beat it
You need fast mods on Piett for Troopers to work, namely your Piett needs to outspeed his CRex and his Echo. Else, CRex will mass daze your team and it's over. Alternatively, you can do the Heal with Wat instead of Weapon tech to get some initial TM but then there's no guarantee that Wat will get a 2nd turn to also cast the Weapon Tech on DT.
Gotta get those rookie numbers up! It really is about Dark Trooper going right after Rey to pump turn meter. Good news is since Rey isn’t leading no one is getting a speed boost.
What if you put in Savage instead of Cal or Echo! Granted it’s still an expensive team but Savage might shut down some counters.

I've been using this team in squad arena for a month lol--I just grab second place and nobody bothers to deal with me because it's a PITA to fight (if you don't know the strat/are too lazy to change teams) and I'm not hogging first

I never use it in GAC tho--as you said, too many ways to cheese it if you know what you're doing and it breaks apart too many teams. In Squad Arena, somebody once used a GG team (with target lock level 6 DC) to beat it. No STAP. R3 characters except R7 GG.
Oh, and you can totally replace one of the clones with Dash Rendar and it'll work just as well!
Yeah squad arena I see no problem messing with this for fun! Not sure why it’s in TW and Grand Arenas though haha

Yeah, this isn't working for me either. I can't scratch the opposing team. And then Rey does ultimate followed by whirlwind and that's it. I've tried a variety of counters and it always ends with ultimate-whirlwind-defeat.
I managed to win this with my JKL lead, JKC, JKR, Mace, and Hermit with the Mace datacron

This comp is good for Squad Arena only Ahnald. It doesnt matter if its an expensive comp. Its the fun of using it and wreck a lot of GL on Squad arena defense. Sure, use a non gl counter like resistance / imp troopers vs that comp which undoubtedly would work. But then thats like putting a very weak defense and get your arena rank pulled down from top 10 down to 50+. You have proven the point its beatable but arena rewards--wise for most free to play players, thats important. No one is setting up a weak line up for people who is serious on arena, I am using this Reva/Rey comp in arena only and my spot is almost never contested but with very people, so i stay between rank 1-5.
Yeah squad arena I don’t care what goes on. Thing is, people are using this in territory wars and grand arena.

Totally not worth splitting up such important teams.
I get the idea behind it but I don't see why people are using this specific comp. Wouldn't a better idea be use Rey lead and swap Reva with Commander Ahsoka? Still costly, but you get the damage immunity which buys time to spam more debuffs, and Ahsoka's offense stat boost can at least somewhat make up for what you're losing without Reva's purges. Idk, that just seems like a better idea, at least in theory, than this

I’ve been seeing it on defense mostly. I guess if you can afford to put this together for offense, sure?
If you put any resistance character other than holdo in that 5th spot, you still live when rey's ult would take everyone deep into red. holdo doesnt do anything special in that regard.

This team is bad, GAS beats it very consistently.
Honestly, GAS without Captain Rex just demolish it. Hit reva when you cant target Rey, otherwise jsut hit Rey till she dies. Period. Stupid team

Definitely can be. I wouldn’t trust many Galactic Legends to fight this thing. Luckily easy to beat without Galactic Legends.

Literally saw this in TW this past week two times. Reason why I never talked about it at first was because it’s a dumb team that’s still around and people asking me questions about it.
It’s such a bad team. Extremely vulnerable to tm trains. Waste of a GL and destroys multiple teams in the process.
