    Hi Patrick and all Oilers fans from Spain. Could support my team live tonight. As I told you, smash the orcas, the team did it from the first minute to the last and win with 5:1 !!!
    Batman and Robin made 5 points and the ghosts Hyman and Nuge scored. Best was the starting goal from Holloway with a beautiful solo against the hole orca defense! Rest is history. Stu only got one goal from the slot, rest he did well, makes me feel much better than before faceoff. So now we are going to Vancouver in order to beat them again! Go for it Oilers and do it for little Ben!!! Cheers from sunny Spain...

    I've said it Dylan Holloway my man he need more front line ice time. What a great game. Thanks for your update Patrick. I was wrong! Coach way correct.

    Sam Carrick played well. In his 10:29 of ice time, he was 58.3% on the face-off dot and got the team an important PP (Zadorov-holding) early in the 2nd period to give the Oil some momentum.

    Happy for the very convincing win but which team shows up for game 7?

  • @lmskiller
    @lmskiller Před 13 dny

    The bottom six didn’t score but both lines had chances and carried the play in the canucks zone most of the game. The last 10 minutes or so that it seemed the Oilers had more trouble getting out of their own zone.

    Big lesson here... Oilers need a goaltending tandem in the playoffs. Start Calvin in game #7 with a short leash. If his save % dips below .900 then put in Skinner.
    Starting Skinner means we have to listen to that deafening “Skinnnerrr!!” chant at the start of the game & that gives Van something to rally around... GET SKINNER!! Don’t help motivate your opponent by giving them what they want.

  • @TheGoldenViper
    @TheGoldenViper Před 14 dny +3

    I disagree about Carrick , he was throwing some good hits and digging in when he needed to. He showed up and did more than Perry has all series imo. I think the whole team showed up and kept the Canucks from getting their footing. It was a great game, if the boys play like this for game 7, we have a solid chance for moving forward!!💙🧡💙🧡🥅🏒

      @@RickL_was_here absolutely!! But wasn’t just that either, shot the puck more as well. Didn’t dance around as much. That Kane goal was a beauty and a good example.

    Carrick 58 percent . Created a penalty on zadorov in the 2nd to change the momentum. Had 7 hits and brough more players into the fight wihenergy . Kept his feet moving and taking time and space to disrupt or rush the van player to make plays. I thought the 4th line was relentless on pressuring van. That energy is infectious. Carrick brought energy grit sandpaper heart. He got more people to take van time and space with his energy . Underrated what he added in game 6.

    Series is all tied up at 3 each. Series will be decided in Vancouver on Monday. Tonight the Oilers came to WIN not just PLAY. They had 10 more hits, nearly double the shots, both PP's went scoreless so both PK's at 100% tonight and there were a lot of minutes doled out (especially at the end of the 3rd with 4 misconducts given out). Oilers were clear winners tonight in a must win elimination game. Hopefully they can do it again Monday. They've statistically been the better team this series now just finish the series and move on. That Holloway goal was a thing of beauty, it was like he was channelling Connor McDavid for the lateral shift and speed. Skinner was great in net not facing a lot but stopping all but the first when Nurse, Desharnais etc. decide to puck watch rather than play D. First Bouch Bomb at the end of the 1st called off for interference (though Blueger pushed McDavid into Silovs). I tactfully say no comment to the officiating. Take care all.

    This loss to the oilers gives the motivational edge to the canucks. Monday mskes me nervous. This is considered a blowout in vancouvers eyes, and we will face the game 5 version of the canucks, NOT the game 6 version. Mark my words. Edmonton had BETTER come out fired up or theyre gettin rolled.

    Remember the Oilers need to win to stay alive in the playoffs. If they lost. This team would get blown up in the off season. The Canucks were not suppose the get out of the first round and if they lost. If would be a learning experience for years to come. Oilers have 2 of the top 10 offensive players and now need a game 7? Game 7 final: Canucks 5 - Oilers 3
