He swung with 6k leader first because the Luffy gets the extra 1k from the leader effect anyway so it's not wasted

Another great breakdown. I’m new to the game still but quick question. Is it common for these matches to only be settled by 1 game? I come from playing Magic the Gathering where competitive events have matches play as best 2 out of 3. I feel like this smooths out variance a bit. I’d be curious which of these two decks wins more often in the long run at head to head.

Thank you!! To my understanding, 99% of one piece matches are best of 1. It's weird to me coming from Pokemon & playing best 2 of 3 at regionals / internationals, but tbh I haven't had too much of a problem with the BO1 system since I started playing in October.

the Searcher card he played can only find Characters so if he woulda found it with that he could not grab it only with the nami if he was lucky

Pretty sure zoro player could've won that game wiht the 5k counter and 2 rad beams and one life just hold the lufyy untill next turn swing 6 zoro 11 luffy unblockable.

Never say it's unfortunate Red didn't win. Red shouldn't be allowed to win another tournament for at least 3 more sets. But good commentary otherwise keep it up!

I do agree I should choose better wording, I just recently started playing so I haven’t seen a deck like Zoro excel (all I know is Sakazuki) 😂

@atrocioustcg That's fair. Lol if you haven't been in since OP01 you don't know the boringness that is zoro mirror match finals or Red/green law vs zoro matches. Idk how people enjoyed it honestly. 😅
