Bob stood on his head, Duclare was always on the net making plays. This is a great playoff team and a great hockey story. I'm a leafs fan, but once they're out, I usually back whatever original six team remains or whatever Canadian team. Now we have neither of those, so I'm a Panther fan. I have to tell ya I'm pretty pumped for the finals... God, I love hockey
It really doesn't matter what people think of these guys, but you definitely have to give them credit. Nobody predicted them to even get past Boston, truly unbelievable effort. Good luck the rest of the way go win boys 🐯🐅🏆

This game should have been 7-1 Panthers we hit post at least 3 times and Carolina got lucky on 2 of their goals, way toonlucky

Happy Maurice is showing people he’s a good coach. Getting here wasn’t easy, but he has pulled the right strings, and his team is playing on another level right now.
Im a lifelong Bruins fan. I have never seen a better display of hockey than what the Bruins did in the regular season this year. I was amazed. But the NHL playoffs are a different animal. When Panthers Coach Maurice said they were going to "systematically disrupt and embarrass" the Bruins, I thought it was pretty cocky. I no longer think that. I think the Coach's choice of the word "disrupt" is very accurate. their defense has been amazing. They bested the Bruins fair and square. And they dispensed with a formidable Leafs team and now the Canes. And we are now seeing what a brilliant team this Panthers team is. My Bruins did not play badly, the Panthers simply had more execution and grit. The Panthers caught fire and they have not let up! They have earned where they are. I love and admire Coach Cassidy of the Knights, (Bruins coach last year). I think we may see an epic battle for the ages if they earn their spot to play the Panthers. Can't wait.

You are so right Sally. When Maurice said he would “systematically disrupt and embarrass” the Bruins (my team), I thought he was cocky and blustering. He wasn’t. It’s exactly what they did to what I considered ( and the stats confirmed) was the best regular season team I have ever seen in 50 years of watching hockey. They beat the Bruins fair and square and shocked me to my core. I have watched every Panthers game since and have been astounded by their skill and pure grit. Highly entertaining games! They deserve to be where they are. Being 3/4 Canadian myself, I feel bad that the Canadian teams have been so down because hockey is so loved and understood there. But the best teams win and that’s the way it should be.

I knew Florida was going to the Finals after they were literally inches from elimination by Boston. This is going to be the greatest comeback I think I may have ever witnessed in any sport if Florida can cap this off with the cup. Wow, talk about pure domination after that Bruins series.
They have now eliminated the #1, 2 and 4 in the league (Boston, Carolina, Toronto) while Florida was #17. Pretty crazy and nothing but respect to them

Nice to see the building actually full, must be good for the community it was not to long ago they would give tickets away. Thankfully there are teams in the league that made money so they could sponsor teams like Florida so they could stay afloat long enough to have this opportunity. Hopefully the fans stick around.
@@melranda111 Some are still in shock so their mi.ds are stuck in the moment where they thought they were happy and safe from total suffering and humiliation, it's a coping mechanism, but in reality because it's a delusion their minds are already broken.
'We Want Florida'....to go on and maybe win their 1st Stanley Cup. It would actually be pretty awesome. 😀The Panthers & their fans have been kicked around for so long, been through a lot of lean years, sometimes made headlines for all the wrong reasons....but when you finally have a management group that's committed to winning & keeping a contending team on the ice, this is the result. The Panthers might just be getting started too, they've got a group that's shown they can stay competitive for a nice run & eventually finally break through & make a serious playoff run after years of teases and shortcomings.

whoever is saying that doesn't know hockey. Vegas vs. Florida might be one of the greatest series we ever witness just by how much they mirror each other on paper. We couldn't have asked for a better Finals. Honestly, the Bruins/Panthers series was the most fun to watch so far, but I think this series might top that.

The games were so close but the series was so one sided. Florida has the hockey gods on their side…what a run and what a story. I hope the win it all. tkachuck and babrovsky are just unbelievable

I honestly saw this coming! If you have kept up with this team all season long offense and power play have been incredibly weak. I knew it was only a matter of time until our luck ran out. There was like a 10 game streak in the regular season where the only players that scored goals was our Blue line defenseman. It was fun to watch and it won us some games, but with that if your star players aren't showing up and putting pucks in the back of the net Aho,Necas, Jarvis etc that isn't a recipe for a Stanley Cup. Those guys I named were an absolute no show in the Florida series and that was the nail in the coffin. Got to get our offensive woes and PP inconsistency figured out during the off season. Better luck next year

I think half the people out there weren't regular PK team, but you have a really good question. I mean, it's not like multiple game winners came from that spot... Hell, what the F was Pesce doing? Still, it was a BS call to put Florida on the powerplay, and it was bigger BS that goalie interference wasn't called.

Hurricanes were soft in the grand scheme of things. They got bullied. They fought as hard as they could. 1 point loss games now. The hardest thing in sports is to try to turn a finesse team and make them hard. That was Carolinas problem. Physical always wins over finesse.

In the Conference finals... three... three freaking powerplays including a total BS call at 57 seconds. If that's what FL needs to win games, I think they are going to have a rough time in the finals.
The refs have gifted the Panthers so many calls and non-calls throughout these playoffs, it's a friggin joke. That's not to take away from the fact that they have absolutely deserved to win every series, but they have definitely been the beneficiary of some very bush league officiating.

What? I watched my highly skilled Bruins be dismantled and "disrupted" by the Panthers. They won fair and square. I have watched every Panthers game since and I have to say it has been some of the most entertaining and exciting hockey I have ever watched on TV. A very high level of play that has little to do with "equipment". Did you not see the 4th overtime game? This Panthers team is superbly skilled, and it has been a delight to watch them. I think the game of hockey is winning over new fans this year and that's a good thing. The best teams have advanced and that's OK by me.
