Gethsemane: Solemnity of the Precious Blood of the covenant and forgiveness!

As he entered the struggle, Jesus prayed more intensely, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground here. (Lk 22:44).
The Solemnity of the Precious Blood in the Basilica of the Agony of Gethsemane exalts the symbol of Christ's sacrifice and the offering of his life.
In biblical anthropology, blood represents life and therefore Jesus, by giving his blood, gives us his own life. This happens particularly in the celebration of the Eucharistic sacrifice.
