I remember when my mom was at this stage. Unfortunately, there is more decline to come. Somedays I wish I could turn the clock back to those days but I enjoy her and love on her at each stage regardless. I've been blessed that she has been kind and loving in every way in every stage.

God bless you all. I lost my Pop to Alzheimer's 5 years ago. We had to put him in a dementia facility a mile from my home, and they were the BEST. I learned that I had to look for the little gifts and blessings in the midst of the disease, like this funny moment with Miss Betty and the "other Betty" in the mirror.
