Sadly, because he was using anichart, he missed "the evil lieutenant and the magical girl used to be enemies" completely (because shorter episodes than usual which anichart lists separately). An obvious passion project from studio bones, to honor the mangaka who died before she could finish the series.

So because the official synopsis is garbage, here's what Quality Assurance in Another World is actually about:
It's a "trapped in an mmo" scenario, but the difference is that A: all the players are professional bugtesters, hired on for the express purpose of stress-testing an unreleased game, and B: the game is completely and utterly busted to all hell. T-posing, quest-triggering errors, the works. Like, the protags are afraid of dying not because they die for real, but because there is a very real chance that the revival system will glitch out and they'll be permanently trapped in an animation loop, and that's assuming they don't accidentally clip through the map and fall out of world forever. Some of the testers have gone insane in desperation, some are just trying to live like NPCs, and the one we follow is just testing anything and everything as hard as he can in vague hope that the dev team will finally respond to his reports. Some of it's played for laughs, some of it's played for existential horror, it's kind of interesting.

Me personally can’t wait for Atri the most since I’ve read the visual novel.
It’s kinda like if a bit of Nagi-Asu had a baby with Plastic Memories and some KEY anime like Clannad or AIR added to the mix. So, this one has the potential to make me cry. And I’m here for it!
The staff seems pretty good too with the director of the anime who did Bloom Into You and Lord El-Melloi while the series composition did a lot of critically acclaimed anime like Steins Gate, A Place Further than the Universe, No Game No Life, The Dangers in My Heart and more.

guys i swear on my soul 2.5 cosplay is a hidden gem. In the start for like 20 chapters it seems your typical trash echii but then idk why the story just forgets its echii and becomes an emotional romcom. Maybe the first season will not be crazy but READ THE MANGA, also okumura is cannonically ripped his aura grows every volume
1st cour definitely covers the Nagomi arc and nonoa. Second cour should be peak. Its a real shame we don't have the work out extra chapter translated...

@@Psychomaniac14 For me it only got better. When you realize that the mangaka's previous works never got as far as that point, you see the beauty of paying off long running plots and setting up for an even longer time scale. It's been pretty consistent in quality otherwise.

Okay, hear me out guys. The anime at 6:23, My Wife Has No Emotions? Don't sleep on that shit.
Its got barely any members on MyAniList right now, but the Manga is absolutely goated and Garnt should 100% have read on, it does some batshit stuff mixed with amazing social commentary further in whilst still having amazingly cute moments. Plus, its being produced by a studio that adapted Quintessential Quintuplets + Goddesses of the Cafe Terrace and had a role in producing Dororo and Pluto. If they put their A-Team on this, it could be an absolute sleeper hit.

I am here to do one thing, and one thing only: agree with the twitch chat that Roshidere (Tokidoki Bosotto Russiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san) is absolute peak, both the manga and light novel. I know, it surprised me too, but it gets unexpectedly excellent throughout the LN, and I'd definitely give any form of Roshidere a shot if you can!

That scene from When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace was one of Hayamin's best works. The show itself was sorta weird and directionless but still fun, but Hayamin really sold that scene!

I've been following the Wistoria manga and seeing that animation knowing I love the story and don't mind the characters I'm so gonna be watching that show, I'll also have to watch Oshi no ko and honestly that's about everything that caught my eye this season.
