Hey girl hey!!! This reminds me of a place called Idlewild Michigan. Not far from Gary, IN. Ask Ron if he's familiar. Way back when, it used to be an all white 'town' where a hand full of black folk with some coins would vacation. My grandfather took us there when I was around 9-10 yrs old. He had friends there who owned cabins. Took us fishing, parties galore, BBQ's galore. It was a good time but I was kinda scared cuz of all the white people. I'm from Gary & if you know Gary, it was quite the opposite of Idlewild. NOW, its full of Blacks and is party central in the summer. Can you say Par-tay, BBQ, Dranks flowing, everybody on the phone with Mary, Campers, Tents & good fellowship. You guys should add that to your travels. You would love it!!
