I'm glad that Torbin and Indara felt like actual characters and we got to see more of them as people. Plus I hate it whenever characters are only ever used as plot devices or maguffins I want every character to contribute in the series
Apart of me wonders how different the reception would have been if the flashbacks were episode 1. Sure some of the mystery would be lost but given how this series has been structured maybe would have been better (well never know). Plus it would have helped fix some of the criticisms that fans had.
Yeah I don't know where the flashbacks placement would have been most effective. Maybe the first episode being the first flashback...and then have episode 1 & 2 play out as episode 2 & 3 in reality, and since the first flashback was episode 3....maybe episode 4 could have been the second flash back in our new line up?
