Roshan Mathew is an Indian Actor who works in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu movies. His Netflix movie Darlings was his recent release. In Malayalam the movie, Oru Thekkan Thallu Case is the much-anticipated project with Nimisha Sajayan and Biju Menon. He has been able to put out some exemplary performances consistently. His character in Moothon was critically acclaimed. Kuruthi, Koode, Kappela there have been several movies where he has etched many memorable characters . The movie Anandam is what made him popular among Malayalam movie lovers. The theatre background that he comes from has been his strength and he has been a part of many theatrical productions. In this interview he talks about how he dabbles in movies in various industries, his personal inner journey, his take on what makes relationships work, his experience working in the movie Darlings with Alia Bhatt, his amazing chemistry with Nimisha Sajayan in the trailer song from Oru Thekkan Thallu Case. You are wrong. Roshan speaks good English with no errors at all. When he speaks Malayalam he speaks Malayalam fluently as well. Some actresses speak fluent English. Some actresses and actors fake their accent, speak bad English just to pretend that they are “yo” and try to fit in. There are wannabe yo and real yo. People got no problem with the real yo. When Prithviraj’s wife speaks English, I haven’t seen anyone criticising either. 😅 Nobody criticises Dhanya Varma either. She also handles English and Malayalam fluently. Please don’t simple victimise it all to women are criticised and men aren’t.

Another superlative Interview. Love Roshan Mathew as an actor but was blown over by his Spoken Word youtube episode which touched something in me amd thats when I started keenly following his work. His words painted a picture which I found was very familiar and something I could relate to and was nostalgic. This episode of " I am" is an interaction between a keen and intelligent interviewer who has the patience to listen to what the other person has to say and the inteviewee is a very intelligent and profound actor who communicates beautifully. Truly awesome interview ... looking forward to more..

In 2013, a group of few students including Roshan Mathew established 'Theatre No 59', which is a musical and drama troupe entirely run by the students of Madras Christian College, where he also was a student.
Every year, a two-day event called "Theatre night" happens. 5 shows including English play, musical, Tamil play , Malayalam play and Hindi play will be performed.
During odd semester, the group holds an audition for the entire campus, which are evaluated by the show directors and heads. Both backstage and onstage crew members will be selected.
Don't miss the show if you ever visit Chennai during the start of the year. It typically happens in January or February.
