I literally never laugh out loud when watching camera reviews, but you had me cracking up. I travel a lot and want a light camera since it's like an all day work out with the current Nikon I carry around. Considering getting this now! Thoroughly enjoyed your video so keep them coming!

I just got mine from Adorama last week, and this thing is a beast. I've wanted to migrate my street camera to Fuji for years but the AF was slow and there were some serious problems that prevented me from moving away from my Nikon Full-frame. Those days are now officially over. With this, paired with the 16 f/2.8 and the 23 f/2 this is the perfect street rig. Amazing AF, good low light performance, tilt screen, light, completely customizable. I won't be taking my D810 out anymore. Thanks for the video. FYI, for those wondering about the 16 f/2.8. In a word, amazing. Sharp, compact, etc etc

Two major improvements that aren’t getting enough hype:
1) Lets you customize the front command dial! I set mine to ISO
2) Separate settings are saved just for video mode, so you dont have to dive into the Q menu every time you switch between photo/video modes
One concern that maybe you could test:
The audio preamp seems noisier and weaker than the previous generation.
these are the things I always want to hear about the most :) these matter to me more than having 3 more Mpixels lol

I love my XT30 except I'm constantly hitting the Q button, which I find really annoying. But, other than that one thing, it's a really nice camera and so user-friendly. Great quality images, versatile and lightweight. Lots to love.

Hey! Awesome videos man, came across them fairly recently and loving it. Question tho! Been in the market for a travel camera (DSLR is just too bulky lol) and have been heavily considering the XT4 or the XT30 (XT40 if that comes out before i buy a camera) Have you had the opportunity to carry around the XT4 with a small prime? Would you consider it too heavy for a relatively compact travel camera set up? i know the XT30 is much smaller and has the same sensor, and i don't currently own a weather sealed camera. However, i wanted something weather sealed so i don't have to ever worry about rain or anything of that sort. I'd say my hands are on the medium-large size and i generally prefer having something that fits well in the hand.
I think I speak for all of us when I say I want a 10 minute rolling shutter test with the the X-T2. Can't get enough of that jello head!
06:50 btw, I use Patona batieries for more than a year now, highly recommended, absolutely no issues. Got 2 of them + a usb traver charger for the same price as one fuji battery. Only downside is that the usb charger which I used all the time for all my charging broke down after after about a year of using :) (glue holding the usb port in place wore off)

i used an XT-20 once as a backup camera in one of the parties i attended, not really a Fujifilm shooter... but after that 2-hour event? well i kinda liked the camera. so i searched some vids here in youtube to learn more about it, then i stumbled into your videos damn hahahaha

I ordered an XT30 kit with th e18-55 + 23 f2 on B&H but while wating for it to be released I canceled my order and ordered a used X-T3 instead same kit for 350 more.

Your fault, mine's gorgeous - loving it so far! A/F a massive upgrade from the 2nd gen. Q button needs to be double-click (bumped it loads but hasn't annoyed me yet). Feels so good with the Fuji grip otherwise too small with any lens bigger than a Fujicron. Looking forward to your X-T30 vids 👍🏻

I want to start into photography and I'm interested in having the X-T20 or X-T30 as my first camera. Do you think they are too overkill for a first camera? Is the X-T30 worth the extra money (I'll do a lot of video recording)
Hey Omar...I am actually thinking of replacing my xt3 with xt30 as prefer a smaller kit. I know you prefer these smaller models over XT3, so much so that you haven't got a grip :-)
However, when I tried xt30 in a shop, that Q button kept getting pressed all the time! Maybe after a long use, the muscle memory will avoid that being pressed.
Would like to see if there is any way to display in EVF the histogram in real time when doing composition with the XT30. Like the Sony A7M3 that allows to adjust exposure compensation to get proper brightness. I found the pictures taken is actually darker than how it looks in EVF.

Dear Omar, my name is Fabio and I decide move for Fujifilm (old passion) after use Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Pentax. I am just enthusiastic but to be honestly I don't know which camera I should buy. I use for travel, family and casual situations, more shoots them videos and now I have in mind X-E3, T20 or T30. The 2 first are in very good price, manly T20 that is very good.... Regards Fabio
I've really tried to do it. 1DS to Fuji. And the Fuji is great. Really great. But I'd give up every feature for it to have the same sensor and raw files as my ancient 1DS MkII. I'll be selling mine and getting another 1DS.
I am a fan of your chanel. I am looking to change my D750 to fuji. I am looking for xt30 or xt3. I know the differences between both on paper. I dont need extra sd, big buffer, more dials... I prefer xt30 for the weight and price. I want first the 35mm 1.4 and the 10-24.
But I have some question. Would you encounter some differences between both bodies in autofocus terms? Maybe in speed, tracking, continuous mode in photography? I can't find any information.

The lost of specs at the beginning has a typo. It says 2.5mm headphone jack but as you mention in the video it's a mic input..
