Foden is simply just a generational and natural footballer. The game is 2nd nature to him, and that is clear to see even since he was little.

Every time he gets the ball I expect something to happen. His goals are such a joy to see.

I remember the English fans complaining about Phil not getting the opportunity to play more games for Man City as player. People were up in arms with Pep Guardiola.
Pep was biding his time, I remember Pep telling the fans to be patient, that he wouldn't rush Phil in games, let him continue to learn his trade. Because Pep knew that Phil was training with some of the best players, the best midfielders in the world in the likes of Kevin KDB, David Silva, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva and Rodri. Players like Kun, Vincent Kompany, Gabriel Jesus, John Stones, Walker, Dias and Akanji. These are some of the best in the world, so it was obvious Pep was taking his time with Phil.
Pep knew more than us mare football fans. Now look at Phil, one of the best young player in the world.

Phil is clearly talented but what helps him grow is his humbleness and sense of gratitude. He loves the club, he is grateful for what the club did for him and now he wants to also give something back. He will be the symbol of Man City for many years to come.

This is the real golden generation.
foden, saka, bellingham, palmer in midfielder.. ,
And there is still Declan Rice, and mature players like Hurricane on the front lines.
If England could get Pep's sign,
They will win the WC 2026

Too bad Southgate is manager. He's going to ruin this generation

And of course, Harry Kane's luck. Even with another Golden Boot Trophy as Bayern player, the club were somehow 3rd in Bundesliga and no silverwares!
