The Deere 18 in the 9RX is EGR only and the Case 715 engine only has a SCR for emissions. The engine oil change interval on the case are 100 to 200 more hours.
I LOVE the commodity classic. Mainly because of all the educational classes or segments they offer throughout the week. I used to travel there with my father. He was a part of United soybean board. Even though he's not a part of USB (termed out) I still go to the commodity classic here and there
Looks like an awesome show. And I believe Fendt stole the air blast idea from Denis Ivers. He's been putting his own system to his case for years.. Maybe they owe him royalties.. lol love your videos keep up the great work..
Thanks for another great video Brian. It was informative and interesting for sure. Wow. Lots of products to look over. Very large show. The new John Deere 830 tractor is a beast. Wow. That is one large tractor. Appreciate you sharing the rundown on the new 830 tractor and the new Deere combine , 700 series I believe. Both are great new additions to the Deere lineup of equipment. Thanks for sharing some of the other lines of equipment with us also. Good show. Thanks for showing us around. You take care. Safe journey home. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Deere went with egr on tier three and still have them on all def equipped models. They supposedly have more tolerance to the emissions system. My uncle has 2 8rs he bought new with 2000 hrs either 15 or 17 models they have to date had no emissions system issues.
I am a former John Deere mechanic and their EGR system destroys their engines and they still have no control over it. your uncle must be lucky and that's great to hear.
So its no longer "Fuel Efficiency" its now "Fluid Efficiency" to cover oil use and water use 😄 Is John Deere following the Tesla model where you have to pay a yearly subscription to use all the features available on the combine?
Gotta love marketing from John Deere. 830 PS but tell me who uses that? The world seems to use KW or HP but you never hear someone say oh my tractor is xxx PS. That is 819 HP, 900 HP max, for those that were wondering.
Good thing John Deere is still making there own engine. They never have had issues with them before😅. Also the guy is talking about pulling bigger implements with this new tractor, except all the implements he is saying it can pull case has been able to pull forever.
I own drago exactly like the one in your video and you would think you would have to blow it out alot but I only do a couple times a year. If it's a wet year maybe more but it works very well. Very little corn on the ground and just eats corn.
I'm surprised Deere went back to an EGR only engine. Thought they would have learned their lesson on the 30 series! Wonder if these new JD18 engines will last longer than 5000 hours or not as well😂. There is a reason Case IH isn't getting rid of the DEF just yet
Steering wheel in the way? Seems to me all of your past machines have had a steering wheel. No problem in the past? Have you ran that joystick mochine yet? To see if it is that great going down the road? Have some experience in this area. 😂
Enjoy the "tech" stuff, having several degrees, Mech. Engineer, Gear Design/Geometry. I manu. gears for John Deere, Caterpillar, was onsite many times. while they do manu. gears internally. I managed machining, engine build and engineering for Roush Racing for 10 years, the "guys" you see at the track, in the pits, they are NOT the brains of the operation which most believe...
Kevin from fendt has always been a honest down to earth salesman/rep . Your vid’s are always great
Thanks for sharing hope you guys are having a great weekend
Thanks for taking us along
It's cool that your farm is not loyal to any specific equipment company. You guys seem to be open to whatever gets the job done. 😀
Ivers farms have had the tank to blow the feeder house off for awhile. Good job agco you finally got something
I noticed the little kid wanting to test out the combine until mom stepped in
Don't know if you noticed Larson's 830 video today but that shield apparently tips down they said if camera isn't an option for you you can see hitch
The new 830 has a camera for the hitch you can see everywhere
Always wanted to attend Commodity Classic now I feel like I have right here in my recliner
Great information sharing
Mr Ivers rigged up air compressors & lines that blow his combine off. Every year he waits til someone’s unhooking the head & gets them with it. 😂
Someone saw Iver's air blaster!
I'd say 😂
Yep Jay had a nice surprise 😂
Exactly what I thought took his idea he’s been running on Case for awhile now like years.
Good video.
Great video Brian. thank you
More Randy!!! That guy is hilarious

You could buy another 100acres for the premium John Deere charges

Please Brian do a part 2 ! Thank you for the great film!
Yer it just cut off at the end , left me hanging
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
The ending 😂😂😂😂😂😎
Beautiful my friend good afternoon my friend ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
That john deere one has a rear backup camera
🇨🇦👍

I have a John Deere 9510 with a factory option feeder house fan that blows feeder house off. Had it figured out back in 99
That compressor dealio is like chaff and flares for a combine.
Dougo and Chet went to Texas and tried the new John Deere out and said it used 45 gallons per hour. 😮
😬
I think that it went up to 43 gpm, I wouldn't want to pay for that fuel bill.
But they were dicsing 15 mph 6 inches deep

The guy talking about the new JD combine, he moves his eye broŵs so much😂 I'm a a$$, I know lol Dude is a good salesmen for sure though!
as a farm machine mechanic I would rather have an engine with DEF than one with EGR because it destroys the engine. DEF does not.
Deere went with egr on tier three and still have them on all def equipped models. They supposedly have more tolerance to the emissions system. My uncle has 2 8rs he bought new with 2000 hrs either 15 or 17 models they have to date had no emissions system issues.
I agree that Def/SCR is preferable to EGR and DPF. However, going forward, new emissions standards will eventually require both technologies.
@@derekmartin2817... You tell them
I am a former John Deere mechanic and their EGR system destroys their engines and they still have no control over it. your uncle must be lucky and that's great to hear.
What I learned is every tractor in us over 700hp with out DEF because of the emission rules. They are not alone.
Lots of toys!
1:01: cheese n rice that new jd is the size of a small house
From my understanding deere is using very high fuel pressure and boost pressures to get away with not having def on their 710
Also epa regs are different for 700hp engines.
Wow Brian Zach and master pipe layer all in one video. I would like to see the new e.g.r. on those big JDs.
I went to the Commodities Lacking Convention. You should have saw the innovation there!
Mornin
Ivers farm built there own blower !
I wish I'd had known you were in Houston. I live outside the city but would of come in to meet you.
So its no longer "Fuel Efficiency" its now "Fluid Efficiency" to cover oil use and water use 😄

John Deere has a camera at hitch area to see in cab.
Thanx Brown farms for faking me to the show with y guys im biggie all new machinery ❤

You are write about the looking behind you. I brush hogged commercial for years Neck and shoulders are shot. Thanks BFF
515 gallon fuel tank 💀

Nice. They seem like good heads
I agree the deere cab is more comfortable, at least to me.
That Fendt Ideal guy was very.... White.... 😂
Cameraman screwup
Geese Bri! Y didn't U offer to let JD demo that combine out on your farm???
Thanks
All that nice new equipment just in time for $4.00 corn .
Yeah gonna make selling a million dollar tractor rough
The new JD S series combines should have auto reel speed integrated with th eauto ground speed.
Maybe it has. I dont know.
Cast frame??? Has that ever been done on big equipment ???
every 8000 series deere from 1995 to present day
Big boy toys
But if the magnets get wet, the blowers won't keep attached and provide you what you paid for.
Never known of a magnet to stop working of wet
😂@@BriansFarmingVideos
Having no def to buy snd deal with in equipment is huge.

WE THE PEOPLE NEED MORE VIDEOS, BOB !!! Or BJ. !,?
tyler made you diss the CIH quad tractor didn't he? lol

Dennis Ivers needs to sue agco.
Nothing new here Brian. Case is a nice alternative if you can't afford the Deere.
John deere has become to expensive
Price a Fendt
11 12 horse power lol. I can put another lawn mower engine on it for extra push. How dusty will it get and not see? Lol
