Actually this scene shocked me deeply, I was full of tears on my eyes, peacefully, and soul full of air. Mostly because I couldn't believe that such a apparently minor detail, could be so public, in a movie. Because I also have such a box, like a teleport machine when accidentally get to it in the house. And every one feels the same when finding it..

Que belo… foi a primeira lembrança da minha infância… chorei aqui lendo… morava num enorme jardim com meus avós, mas a mansão foi destruida por um desastre natural e sofri demais depois, fui parar com minha mãe louca, fui drogado, torturado, parei num orfanato, fui est… e agora você me fez cair uma lágrima… foi exatamente o que era eu quando criança (até aos 5 anos)… tinha um balanço, um jardim com flores lindas, enormes árvores com frutas, um lago, eu era sozinho mas feliz… tempo bom

Lamento decirte que para Yann Tiersen el sentido que se le dió a su música en la película Amelie Poulain fue totalmente opuesto al que el quería darle. El lo ha comentado a esto en varias ocaciones. Es más, en una entrevista reciente por el nuevo album 'Portrait' dice que dejó de tocar esas canciones por varios años por ese motivo. Pero claro, está en cada uno de nosotros buscarle el simbolismo e identidad entre el soundtrack y la película.
