    This also is the best instructional video that i have seen to date for the rear lights. All other videos ive seen dont show the full process of how to remove the cover before you get to the housing.

    I have a 2016 Fusion and really like the car except for any of the lighting which is simply pathetic. Amazing how all the lamps are pretty accessible for this vid which was really well done. (headlight access is a total joke in this car). Will be purchasing this kit! Many thanks!

    Great video i did mine a while ago. Side note the trunk light is easier than he made it look. Just use something small to push thr clip in and pull it down.

    My 2017 ford fusion platinum must be 4th generation. The license plate lamps are incandescent bulbs but after spending an hour removing one, I found them to be glued in the casing. The trunk and reverse lamps are incandescent.

    • @TimN333
      @TimN333 Před 5 lety

      Probably not glued. Especially if they're incandescent. You just have to give the a good tug without breaking the bulb. Yours probably looks just like mine. A tab on the side of the plate light assemble. Then a twist the plate light assembly around a quarter turn. Pull out the bulb, and it's being held by a tightly molded plastic. It's just a snug fit around the bulb with the connection inside.

  • @alphab318

    Your video is "A" rated, the best I've seen. I would like to know is the reverse lite a 621 and license led a 194?

      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the support! We used a T10 fitment for the reverse and license plate LEDs.

    Another thing I found was the LED's I bought were not polarity sensitive or the computer wiring in the car wasn't polarity sensitive. I tried several times to verify the founding.

  • @alphab318
    @alphab318 Před 6 lety +5

    Today I installed the reverse lamps and found after removing the trunk cover halfway the back of the light housing was exposed and I just ccw 1/4 turn and the lamp pop out. No removing the light.

    • @marcalbuttenberg6437
      @marcalbuttenberg6437 Před 2 lety

      I am looking for this information too! The factory interior leds have a very pleasant color temperature, they are not the usual warm white leds you can find

  • @joeg.1119
    @joeg.1119 Před 7 lety +2

    Dont try to removed the dome lights or the rear light either because if try to removed it it will break ford decided to go with a circuit board print out leds they are so cheap

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety

      Yes, these are factory LEDs and cannot be replaced as they are soldered to a chip and board.

  • @ZombiesBuried

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety

      Some models have LEDs while others don't, but if could check and see that your car does indeed have LEDs and not halogens for your map and dome lights please let us know! You can reach us at help@precisionled.com

    Could you post a video of the roof led lights installation?

    • @joeg.1119
      @joeg.1119 Před 7 lety +2

      Domingo Chacon you can't removed those the reason is because the circuit board for the leds are glued to glasses holder it's all one piece if you try to removed it it will break and that goes for the rear light also

    • @joeg.1119
      @joeg.1119 Před 7 lety +2

      Domingo Chacon watch paul durano videos on how to removed the dome light on a 2015 ford fusion it will tell you not to be removed

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety +2

      I believe you are referring to the dome light. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the dome light, as it is stock LED, which is soldiered to a chip and board.

  • @oahukid41

    Would you br able to do a video on how to install the Exterior lights as well (High Beam, Low Beam, Fog )?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you for the suggestion. We will keep an eye out for another Fusion around Los Angles so that we can make additional installation videos. However, the installation process for the headlamps, highs, and fogs is nearly identical for all vehicles. The only major difference would be physically accessing your halogen bulbs. I would recommend having a watch on some of our other headlight installation videos and you will gain a general knowledge on how the headlamps, highs, and fogs are installed.

  • @joseduranjr8890

    I have a 2016 Ford Transit Connect Titanium long wheelbase model. It has the glass roof and some LED lights overhead. It doesn’t have a center front or rear light it desperately needs when putting key into ignition or unloading groceries in the rear.
    These models also do not have lighted vanity mirrors!? The visor is massive and with no light.
    Please help?
    PS- are there LED kits for the reverse lights as well as the small front bulb that lights when the doors are unlocked?
    Thank you. Joseph from the State of New Mexico

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety

      Hi, you can add the reverse lights in the drop down menu when you order the kit linked in the description box. Unfortunately you would need existing vanity mirror lights in order to perform the upgrade.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety

      The 6000k would be the best match for your stock LEDs. The kit linked in the description box above would be compatible with your vehicle and you can add the license plate lights and reverse lights in the drop down menu!
