This also is the best instructional video that i have seen to date for the rear lights. All other videos ive seen dont show the full process of how to remove the cover before you get to the housing.
I have a 2016 Fusion and really like the car except for any of the lighting which is simply pathetic. Amazing how all the lamps are pretty accessible for this vid which was really well done. (headlight access is a total joke in this car). Will be purchasing this kit! Many thanks!
Great video i did mine a while ago. Side note the trunk light is easier than he made it look. Just use something small to push thr clip in and pull it down.
My 2017 ford fusion platinum must be 4th generation. The license plate lamps are incandescent bulbs but after spending an hour removing one, I found them to be glued in the casing. The trunk and reverse lamps are incandescent.
Probably not glued. Especially if they're incandescent. You just have to give the a good tug without breaking the bulb. Yours probably looks just like mine. A tab on the side of the plate light assemble. Then a twist the plate light assembly around a quarter turn. Pull out the bulb, and it's being held by a tightly molded plastic. It's just a snug fit around the bulb with the connection inside.
Another thing I found was the LED's I bought were not polarity sensitive or the computer wiring in the car wasn't polarity sensitive. I tried several times to verify the founding.
Today I installed the reverse lamps and found after removing the trunk cover halfway the back of the light housing was exposed and I just ccw 1/4 turn and the lamp pop out. No removing the light.
I am looking for this information too! The factory interior leds have a very pleasant color temperature, they are not the usual warm white leds you can find
Dont try to removed the dome lights or the rear light either because if try to removed it it will break ford decided to go with a circuit board print out leds they are so cheap
Some models have LEDs while others don't, but if could check and see that your car does indeed have LEDs and not halogens for your map and dome lights please let us know! You can reach us at help@precisionled.com
Domingo Chacon you can't removed those the reason is because the circuit board for the leds are glued to glasses holder it's all one piece if you try to removed it it will break and that goes for the rear light also
I believe you are referring to the dome light. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the dome light, as it is stock LED, which is soldiered to a chip and board.
Thank you for reaching out. Yes, that is correct, the 2020 Fusion installation would be very similar to as shown in the video. Also, the product linked in the description is compatible with your Fusion as well.
Thank you for the suggestion. We will keep an eye out for another Fusion around Los Angles so that we can make additional installation videos. However, the installation process for the headlamps, highs, and fogs is nearly identical for all vehicles. The only major difference would be physically accessing your halogen bulbs. I would recommend having a watch on some of our other headlight installation videos and you will gain a general knowledge on how the headlamps, highs, and fogs are installed.
@@PrecisionLED Hey I am willing to go out to LA with my 2018 Ford Fusion SE if you want to make a video switching out the halogen bulbs for the led ones. Especially if it makes it look like the titanium model lol.
Just got my order in today so excited guys. Are y'all going to do any headlight bulbs for this Ford fusion? If so I'll buy them in a heart beat. Cheers!
I have a 2016 Ford Transit Connect Titanium long wheelbase model. It has the glass roof and some LED lights overhead. It doesn’t have a center front or rear light it desperately needs when putting key into ignition or unloading groceries in the rear. These models also do not have lighted vanity mirrors!? The visor is massive and with no light. Please help? PS- are there LED kits for the reverse lights as well as the small front bulb that lights when the doors are unlocked? Thank you. Joseph from the State of New Mexico
Hi, you can add the reverse lights in the drop down menu when you order the kit linked in the description box. Unfortunately you would need existing vanity mirror lights in order to perform the upgrade.
i have a 2017 ford fusion titanium which light color is my interior lights i would like them to all match thanks also for the plate lights and the puddle lamps (do you have a kit for the visor reverse trunk and puddle lamps?)
The 6000k would be the best match for your stock LEDs. The kit linked in the description box above would be compatible with your vehicle and you can add the license plate lights and reverse lights in the drop down menu!
Hi! Our premium kits contain 360 3D LEDs, which have 2x the lighting power of standard 5050SMD LEDs. You can learn more about the differences between the standard and premium LEDs here: czcams.com/video/eES-rxFew00/video.html
Thank you for your interest. Yes, we carry a headlamp kit for your the 2013+ Fusion, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-h11-cree-led-headlights.html
Unfortunately we do not have a headlight video for the Fusion just yet. However, I would recommend having a watch on some of our other headlight LED installations. The installation process is virtually identical for all vehicles. The only major difference would be physically accessing your halogen bulb.
PrecisionLED it's about time bro but too late for me i figure out on how to removing every single light including the trunk light after i broke the clips on the trunk light and i had to used duck tape on it lol

Great work and great arms.
Thanks for tuning in!
You can switch out the 3 dome light in the interior?
Your video is "A" rated, the best I've seen. I would like to know is the reverse lite a 621 and license led a 194?
Thanks for the support! We used a T10 fitment for the reverse and license plate LEDs.
thaks so much ! ... i was waitting this video for months ! ..
Glad to be able to help!
Thank you for showing us how. Nice detailed video.
Thank you for watching!

This is true for 17+ model year Fusions.
Thanks for the input!
How about the glove box is there a video changing that bulb to led
I purchased these 2 years ago but I noticed that my fuse keeps blowing and I constantly have to change it. Is that normal?
What about over head console light???
What bulb size is the vanity mirror bulbs? And do you happen to know the color temperature of the factory interior leds?
I am looking for this information too! The factory interior leds have a very pleasant color temperature, they are not the usual warm white leds you can find
Dont try to removed the dome lights or the rear light either because if try to removed it it will break ford decided to go with a circuit board print out leds they are so cheap
Yes, these are factory LEDs and cannot be replaced as they are soldered to a chip and board.
So how do I replace the cabin map lights and the dome light
Just bought the premium kit for my 2017, curious as to why the base kit comes with only map and dome lights when they are supposedly not changeable
Some models have LEDs while others don't, but if could check and see that your car does indeed have LEDs and not halogens for your map and dome lights please let us know! You can reach us at help@precisionled.com
Muy buen video ,,le ise los mismos cambios de led solo me faltaron los de las biseras ,,que medida son los de las biseras
Ya acomplete los de las biceras son 28
Could you post a video of the roof led lights installation?
Domingo Chacon you can't removed those the reason is because the circuit board for the leds are glued to glasses holder it's all one piece if you try to removed it it will break and that goes for the rear light also
Domingo Chacon watch paul durano videos on how to removed the dome light on a 2015 ford fusion it will tell you not to be removed
I believe you are referring to the dome light. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the dome light, as it is stock LED, which is soldiered to a chip and board.
Would these lighting mods work with the newer 2020 Ford Fusion
I would like to know this as well
Thank you for reaching out. Yes, that is correct, the 2020 Fusion installation would be very similar to as shown in the video. Also, the product linked in the description is compatible with your Fusion as well.
Would you br able to do a video on how to install the Exterior lights as well (High Beam, Low Beam, Fog )?
Thank you for the suggestion. We will keep an eye out for another Fusion around Los Angles so that we can make additional installation videos. Hope the installation went smoothly! We will definitely try do a headlight vid in the future if we are able to.
Will this work on my 2017 Ford Fusion hybrid SE?
Thank you for your interest. Yes, the installation as shown in your video is compatible with your 2017 Fusion.
the 17's reverse lights are changeable without having to pull the lights off.
What is the color temperature of the lights in the video?
The 6000K color temperature was used in this video.
Just out of curiosity, is it possible to change out the light bulbs in the glove box and center console in the 2nd generation Ford Fusion?
I believe these lights are stock LED, which you cannot swap as they are soldered to a chip and board.

Thank you for your interest. Yes, the kit listed in the description is indeed compatible with your 2018.

this is a ford fusion 2015 ....
Yes, that is correct. However, the installation process is the same for all 2nd generation Fusion, which would be years 2013+.
PrecisionLED I also have a 2015 Ford Fusion, but any chance will you upload a video that shows how to replace the dome lights?
