  • On this video I show a quick comparison with the Reefs 300 compared to the SuperPump servo with my bec set at 6.8 volts. On a 3s lipo battery with the custom drive shaft mod done as well.

Excellent Video! Thank You for the tips and information. I have my Jevries single SuperPump up front in my 64 Impala, servo flipped and Jevries Servo Horn. BEC at 8.4. "Limon" with no extra weight plates and 1400 3S Lipo hits Bumper! I'm enjoying all your videos and learning. Keep them coming Brother!

What's good DsNVogues?? My Super Pump should arrive this week. Can't wait to try it out on my 64. So from what I'm gathering. The steering servo needs to be upgraded due to the BEC voltage that's going to the pump servos primarily. Correct? I'm still learning about how all this works. Lol!!!

Hey whats good bro! Well you can use a bec with your stock set up if you have your bec at 6 volts. If im not mistaken the steering servo can handle a max voltage of 6 volts. If you upgrade your steering servo you can turn the voltage up on your bec. The rear servos can handle a max voltage of 6.8 volts. The reefs and the Super pump can handle all the way to 8.4 volts. What I ended up doing is I upgraded my steering servo to a full size servo and used the same servo at the rear for my steering. Technically you should only set your bec at 6.8 volts according to the servos specs in this case. But I did do a test of turning the bec up to 8.4 volts with the stock rear servos and upgraded steering servo and so far, they are working and running at 8.4 volts when it should be 6.8 volts. I hope this all
Makes sense to you brother. If not I can break it down more for you.
