The 13 Pro is one the least problematic phones I’ve ever owned. Smallish, reliable, good battery, frequent updates, excellent display. Unless you don’t F with Apple, it’s a great phone.

J, I too have gotten to the point where phones are just too big and not easy to use. I recently went from a 13 pro to a 13 mini and have found a love for tech and my device again. Switching to something light, easy to use and pocketable without feeling like having a brick really has been a big difference. Not to mention the apple MagSafe wallet fits perfectly. I do miss 120hz but I can deal with it

I bought my 13 Pro last year right after they announced the 14 series and the prices on the 13's started dropping. I moved up from an 8 Plus, which I had kept for over 4 years because I liked it so much. I like the 13 Pro even more. The display, the speed, the design - they're all great! I could have gotten the 14 Pro, but I could tell the 13 Pro was one I personally liked better - and I still believe it is the better phone for me.
Still rocking my 12 Pro Max, in 2023 battery life is great Camera are good. I want to wait and see what the iPhone 15 brings to the table.
I got a sierra blue 13 pro for my birthday in January 🙂 I wanted a 14 but realized I can get more features on a 13 pro for roughly around the same price.
I'm rolling w the 13 mini for the same reason. I'm tired of huge phones
I got the 13 Pro Max before the year closed out I personally like the size but I totally agree it’s a phenomenal phone the battery life is insane it’s definitely great to travel with. The 13 Pro line I think will go down in the history of iPhone as being one of the best

I hear you J. I opened another line because i wanted to experience the 14 pro max and not have to give up my android experience with my s22 ultra. I figured id have issues swapping back and forth with the E-Sim so i just bit the bullet and did that instead🧐.
I prefer the notch to the cutout, I used the 14 pro for a few weeks when it came out (had to return it cause of a trade in issue with the carrier) - and noticed that the cutout was cutting into a lot of content more as apps were not optimized for it yet. Dynamic island is cool but it's just a notification widget, or notification bubble so I don't really care for it. Not sure why everyone was saying it was the best feature.
I’m still rocking the 13pm and it’s still a beast no complaints at all definitely recommend it
Got the 13 pro at a discount and can’t see enough from a value perspective to pay the difference for the 14 pro, this phone is perfect haven’t looked back
I got the pro a month before the 14s came out -- and still very happy with this phone. Plan to stick with this one for a few years before upgrading. 😊😀
Hands down this phone is a win.... For the ones that swap sim cards. Coming from a 2020 SE model, nice upgrade. And the battery life everyone talks about is sick. I'm a big android user,but this device makes you take notice.

i've got the 13 pro max last nov brand new in GOLD color and absolutely love it. Coming off from Samsung 20 FE, this was quite a bit of leap. I can't say Apple OS is superior to that of android's but surely seems better in compatibility with many of devices such as car audio system.
Yeah the more and more I get into tech the more and more. I want to check out iOS and see what it offers and I really even thinking about pulling the trigger on a 13 Pro Max. What do you think?

I iust got the 13 Pro Max October 2022 over the 14 Pro because of the battery reviews of it and the dynamic island that I think is more in your face compared to the notch.
I am super happy with the 13 Pro Max. Superb battery and awesome cameras for me. I just do point and shoot as I do not know how to use pro features of a smartphone.
I will surely keep this for 3 years or more.
So did I plus I don't like the esim on the 14 and the battery not good on the 14

I'm using Tmobile as my primary, and my secondary I test out different prepaid carriers, rite now I'm using Mint, got the 6 month deal.
Got my pro max 13 in November 2021 and it’s my best phone ever.
It’s all the way a great phone and free of damage, so i would get a nice price for it if i would go for a trade or just sell it.
But for me it was not worth it and the Sierra Blue colour is also a big plus for me.
I’ll wait and see what the 15 will bring.
But I won’t mind to keep this 13 longer.

I adore my 13 Pro. I didn’t want to upgrade because the removal of the SIM tray was, to me, super inconvenient as a traveler. My ONLY regret about my 13 Pro is that I didn’t get it in Sierra Blue 😂

I don't know it's hard to choose for me...12 pm,13 pro. But after a few videos about 13 pro there is not a big difference between 13 and 13 pro (only 120hz for me)
The A15 bionic uses basically the same architecture as M1. Only difference is iPhone has 6 CPU cores (2 performance/4 efficient) and 5 GPU. M1 has 8 CPU cores (4 performance/4 efficient) and 7/8 GPU cores.
In short the iPhone 13Pro/Pro Max’s cpu just had 2 less cores then M1. Pretty impressive.
I buy last year iphone 13 pro max and i m very happy and satisfaed with this phone. So big dispaly with promotion, so good cameras, battery life is just perfect, almost 2 days with usuall using (when i m below 10-20% i go for charging). No way to buy new iPhone probably for nxt 2,3 years.

I like my iPhone 14 Pro Max but I miss the battery life from the 13 Pro Max a trade off for the Dynamic Island I should have waited for the iPhone 15 Pro Max 😢 the OEM’s need to release more phones because right now we are at a standstill I am getting bored with tech from phones ☎️ it’s the same old things we need more battery 🪫 life from Samsung and androids and more features from apple 🍎 I’m glad J Williams has a car 🚗 channel to keep us entertained while waiting on new phones 📱 to release it’s not our content creators fault the OEM’s are slacking Samsung the S23 better have a longer battery life or we should just buy a S21 Ultra with that strong vibration motor and save money 💰 but as of now my android go to is still the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro

The normal iPhone 14 has the best battery out of any compact iPhone. I’ve used them all the only iPhone beating the iPhone 14 in battery life is the iPhone 14 plus.

I still have my 13 pro max and wont change it for a very long time. Theres no sense in changing a smartphone thats still spot on! Its just a waste of resources and money. I was an android user for almost my entire smartphone-user life and needed to change smartphone after 3 years cause they were getting slow. Now with this phone i can just keep it for a way longer time with just a battery replacement (now im still at 100%). Its a very good Investment for our environment
I'm an Android guy, and what Mr Williams says about Apple's software is true. You rarely hear Apple users mention issues when thru get their software updates.
Apple phones are the most powerful and smoothest

Great insight and commentary, I just upgraded from iPhone 8 Plus to the 13 Pro Max, I don’t get it until this Friday.
I’ll still keep my 8 Plus which I just put a new battery in a couple months ago, but after conducting a vigorous research and fact finding task, the electronic SIM card was the deal breaker for me to choose the 13 Pro Max, you got any advice you can share in terms of what I should expect.?
I remember getting my 13 pro last year thinking, oh its basically the same as the 12 which was basically the same as well 11. But boy was I wrong. Screen is so much smoother with promotion. Camera sensors are a lot better and bigger compared to the 12 and battery life lasts way longer. I used the 14 pro max for a little while and honestly think the 13 pro is better as the battery life is longer and I personally hate dynamic island as i think it was an unnecessary invention that actually hinders more than helps.
How does the island which has more functionality than a static notice hinder anything? And please don’t cry over how it eats into the few pixels of wide screen content.
And the 14 pro lasts much longer than the 13 pro in the latest iOS update now.
@@michealadebz when i used the 14 pro, the dynamic island was a complete mess with software bugs. And many people reported this on twitter too. At least the notches that are fixed in place don't have the same software bugs. Great if IOS has improved battery life too, but not 3 months when I wrote the comment. You buy a product for what it is now, not future software updates. And back then, it was a hot mess hence I preferred the 13 Pro. Maybe today the 14 Pro is better after months of optimizations.
My 13 Pro Max is really not that big compared to some of the android devices I have. I've found my Pixel 5 to be the perfect sized phone for me.

Just switched to a Pixel 6A from a Pixel 6 Pro just cause of the size and flat screen. I, too WILL NOT carry a device bigger than a 6.1 inch screen.
