I have one (Subaru) and love the car - never had a problem with seating position and the steering wheel - in fact it’s the most comfortable I’ve ever been in a car. It does qualify for the $7500 tax credit under a leasing option. The horsepower is fine with me - how fast do we really need to go? I can pass anyone. I looked at a Tesla Model Y and couldn’t do it for another $150 per month. I’m pretty happy with the Solterra!

I have a 2024 Solterra Luxury Package and absolutely love it! I also have no issue with the squircle steering wheel and the adjustment to see the display.

The pricing reflects that they were not prepared to enter this category cause who is spending this much on a subcompact vehicle outside of a BMW or Merc!?

I got a great lease deal on the limited. Can get the tax credit applied when you lease. It’s a great daily driver for around town. If it didn’t have a great lease deal it would be less appealing for sure.

The black, plastic fenders look absolutely terrible.

I was looking on my Local Subaru dealership page and it says that there is a $7,500 on leasing

I leased one a few months ago and they applied the $7,500 tax credit to it, lowering my payment

Just bought Solterra Touring in June, there is no tax credit for it, only apply 0% APR for 72 months installments. However, if you lease a Solterra limited, there is a $7500 OFF from the MSRP. Only for limited trim at the time when I bought my Solterra. No tax credit for Solterra since it is imported from. JAPAN.

This car and the Toyota variant have to be the worst EVs currently for sale. Yes, they improved the charge times, but there is absolutely no reason to buy this over anything else out there. Unless they are giving you this car for free, buy or lease something else. Anything else.

give me some reasons what made you so opinionated? it is a great SUV and nothing can go wrong with $329 a month with 329 down, there is no better AWD car on the planet for median income family, Subarau known for it is quality and have the biggest fan base period. Don't get me wrong, I DONT OWN A SUBARU. I drive MDX and Q7. but few days ago I tested the car and I LOVED it, the best suspension in EV. PERIOD. 220 low range it is more then enough for even someone living in LA, most people drive 70-80 miles a day so why the heck we need 330 miles. I do not agree with this guy, who hired him for reviewing the car. many cars have simiar steering I drove one for few years is Nissan Maxima, which has similar steering and boy I loved it, with that steering on SPort mode suspension, I have drove my maxima at 120 speed on yellow lane for 5 miles lol. remember you dummy reviewer, this type of steering is super helping in turning in high speed, it cut down the extra rolling of steering when turning. I am buying ( leasing) this car. this weekend ( 329 a month with 329 down 36 month lease and buy back option for 20K) I spend over 280 a month on my Q7 on premium gas. so you do the math. Go test drive and dont listen to this guy he is bribe by some company.

I considered solterra, but it is like subaru was just throwing random ideas together without considering how they worked together. They are so far behind the ev world.

'25 Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Hummer EV, probably nothing from GM is getting NACS in '25 either. You are stuck with the adapter. GM fault, Tesla fault, who knows.

It has an Austin allegro steering wheel which British Leyland termed as Quartic , this was back in 1973 and by 1977 it had gone back to a normal shape steering wheel. It was probably the least bad thing about that car considering how shit that car was !
