Very glad to hear all went well with the surgery and I hope you are feeling less sore now. With that Ebayer leaving neutral, they are not supposed to leave neutral or negative without first trying to resolve any issue with the seller. So you could contact the buyer or Ebay themselves to ask them to remove the neutral.

Glad it's over for you Georgina ,I'm onto my second PM now the previous one lasted 12yrs ,and when I had my aortic valve replaced 6 yrs ago they decided to leave the pacemaker in, i was treat like a queen ,best wishes to you my friend x

Sorry you're feeling rough Georgina, hope you feel a lot better soon. Really interesting to hear about the procedure but can't say it's reassured me about having an ICD! Also I have a couple of concerns. You said the cannula had to go in your left hand, presumably because it's closer to the heart, but I've had my lymph nodes removed on that side following my lumpectomy so any blood tests, blood pressure checks etc now have to be done on my right arm. The other thing is I'm a petite person and there's not much chest space where the device could go and it might be too obtrusive. These are points I will now be raising with my consultant at my next appointment, so thank you for making me aware. Not sure I can handle that much pain either! Wishing you all the best for your recovery and look forward to the updates x
Glad that it went well. I have been full of a cold as have most of my family. I was thinking to myself she was lucky not to get a cold just before you said you had the flu. I hope that you make a full recovery soon xx
Thank you for explaining it all because my daughter who has one as you know doesn’t speak much and she was 15 when she had hers and now I have a little idea how she felt. Only difference is because she’s special needs she had a general anaesthetic xx

I'm glad that the op went well, and that your nearest and dearest were able to come and visit you (The Girls Aloud song and it's connection to Ellie is particularly beautiful). Glad that Simon is keeping an eye on you, making sure you don't do too much, however frustrating it may be. It's not the best time to get flu, especially with a cough attached. Hopefully you have some Vick's and some lozenges on hand to help with that. That floral shirt looked really lovely on you, btw. Personally I thought the crochet cardie looked quite fun a nd cosy with big baggy sleeves, but that's me. :) Take care, look after yourself. Arnica cream will help the pain of the bruising and bring it out. I remember being at LGI. I had that plastic bracelet for my invasive procedure. New thing LGI are doing.
Glad uv had it and on the mend to recovery ..im looking at ur wrist warmers are they roomy pls.ive arthritis and fibromyalgia and think they look ideal.as im in a chair and need something to help keep my hands relatively warm out..i have raynards also..
Arnica gel will help with the bruising.

i would just be sure its flu and not an infection post-surgery also couldn't you ring the ward or out of hours for some pain relief over the bank holiday xx

Well done Georgina for dealing with the op so well, but sorry that you've obviously caught something whilst in the hospital. Can I just ask...did itt hurt when they made the incision? Sorry you are still suffering pain and hope it wears off soon. I hated the Cath lab when I had my angiogram done as it really hurt and despite giving me extra anaesthetic it didn't make any difference. Now if I had been listening to Girls Aloud it may have helped lol. Please take care of yourself and don't forget to rest up sometimes xx

You need to keep taking the painkillers so they build up in yourbody. You dont need to be in pain 😮
Is the only painkiller you have taken that paracetamol at night?

Maybe your doctor can prescribe you stronger pain meds. I’m sure that would help a lot if you could take them.
Don't often comment, often watch though, hope your recovery is going well and I do prefer the longer vlogs. Nice to have on in the background
