Just wanted to tell that dude again difference between the 50 and 70s are pickguard.. that's an awesome guitar you have haven't seen it with a reverse headstock there that's pretty freaking sweet

I have the same guitar bought long time ago when it first came out. Haven't really played much but getting back into it. I want to change the factory pickups to better ones. Anything you suggest? I'm thinking SD blackouts or EMG 81/85

Sí, como guitarra inicial es muy buena. Su mayor problema para los principiantes es Floyd Rose, lleva un tiempo acostumbrarse.

It is a good practice guitar, the biggest problem is the floyd, that do not hold tune that well, maybe the newer ones are better ?

Raphael Maldonado Thanks for the feedback but I've since gotten a Jackson JS23 with a standard trem bridge... I recently got Ibanez picks, though, after my Fender's split in half.

BigJujube you chose pretty well, imo if you want floyd you have to save some money and get a good one

Raphael Maldonado Yes I'm pretty happy with the guitar: it looks great and it's just fine for an electric newb... if I'll get a new guitar in the future, I think it'll be an Ibanez with a good Floyd Rose (that does its job and won't tune out!)

Ja tive uma dessas (idêntica), excelente pra tocar, mas a Floyd peca bastante, desafinando a toda hora (mesmo bem regulada). Uma Floyd de verdade (e não licensiada) e um par de bons captadores tornam essa guitarra excelente!!

On a short answer, yes! Long answer: It was my first guitar and maybe i think you can find a better option nowadays, but if you find it for a good price it is worth it.

Is this guitar same spec with rg370 except different FR? Is it worth to spend more than $100 to get rg370?i don't like low-end FR,maybe i will block it

The RG370 is way better as far as i know. I sold it ages ago, but as far as i can remember the FR is HORRIBLE, always getting out of tune, i suggest a fixed bridge for this level of guitar.
