Area of 54 inch square pizza is 54*54=2916 square inches of pizza (/8) which is 364.5 per person. Area of 36 inch pizza is around 1018 square inches (/2) makes it 509 square inches per person. As long as the pizzas are the same thickness the 2 person challenge is quite a bit more food😉

This is great! Those slices are so big the guys look like little kids. Love it.
I did the math on those pizza challenges. Turns out the 54x54 would be easier. It's 2916 square inches of pizza, which is 364.5 per person (for 8 people). Whereas the 36" pizza is 1018 square inches = 509 per person (quite a bit more). If the 54x54 was for 5 or 6 people, it would be pretty similar.

This is the equivalent of NINE 12” Pizzas for anybody wondering 😳
Also, this 2 person challenge is much much more difficult than the 8 person 54”x54” one… for this one you need to eat over 500 square inches each, whereas you need to eat around 360 square inches each for the 8 person
The math checks out: Pizza Pie Are Squared.
Pizza is a circle so your math is wrong, also its 7 people for the big one i believe, the poster said that

Even with 7 people on the 54x54 challenge, that still equates to 417 square inches per person, much less than this.

Normally the pizzas in these challenges look gross but this one actually looked delicious.
Nah looked like absolute ass. Look at the "cheese" they put on it, and the dough looks way too thick and chewy. But I guess that's standard quality for US pizza

The meta to eat pizza crust is to take a bite of the topping filled parts as well as a bite of the crust. Like that its both tasty and crunchy and not as dry.

As an American sadly I agree. Somewhere everything went sideways and some parents stopped teaching manners and respect and when their kids became parents they didn’t teach them either so we’ve had generations who haven’t been taught manners and respect. My suggestion is if you’re visiting the US unless you want to spend a day or so in one of our big cities you’re better off looking for medium sized cities and small towns. In the south and the midwest you’ll find the best hole in the wall and greasy spoon restaurants and it’s not like CNN makes it out to be. In these smaller communities you’ll find more people with manners but also if they ask “how ya doin” be prepared because it’s most likely not a passing comment lol it’s a conversation starter, especially with the older folk. If you’re an obvious foreigner (accent is different and this also applies to other Americans as well) when encountering these older folks you will probably be asked where you’re from (even if it’s obvious) and about your family…then they’ll tell you about their entire lineage. Point being the stereotype of Americans don’t have any kind of manners is like all stereotypes. It’s a blanket statement that can be easily disproven. Don’t just visit our cities, explore our vast country and you’ll find NYC and LA don’t define us as a nation regardless of what the media tells you.
