Hi angelamarie! I'm curious how that would look for you. What does a prophet say when he is saying something prophetic? What does he look like? Was the only time that Joseph Smith spoke as a prophet when he predicted the Civil War would start in South Carolina? President Monson, along with his counselors and the Quorum of the Twelve as sustained as prophets, seers and revelators. That is what they are doing this weekend - revealing the mind and will of the Lord.
What we, Mormons practice and preach are more holy than any other church out there because they are given unto men through the Holy Ghost from our Heavenly Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ himself!! All u have to do is read the whole Book of Mormon, ponder while studying in ur mind, then ask God if its true.. While u ask with a sincere heart and it be true, then u shall feel a great feeling within u. But if not true, then u feel no such feeling and the thought shall disappear from ur mind..
That's a pretty broad brush, kind of like saying that people who make bombastic comments on CZcams are morons or that people who don't use their real picture as an avatar are cowards. Either back it up or back it off.
Mr. Ford, in response to your question...proof, lack of physical evidence, lack of artifacts do not shake, disturb or place doubt to the borne witness to the souls of men that The Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah. Real men and women do not seek to destroy the faith of others, they seek to build upon it.
