Good job Tony, this repair is a prime example of experience and paying attention to detail. You’ll probably put this job up in the brain for future references 😅😅

You are a solid guy too Tony. Good catch on the relay. I probably would have done everything just like you did. My old ears might not have heard the relay though. Good job and while on vaca even. ha ha

it was alot of work. But the next tech will not have to do all that, I put it back together right.

Good problem solving! I just ordered a ps100 automotive tester for troubleshooting twelve volt systems. Can’t wait to try it after watching video reviews about it,

Great video. Running the test wire was pretty smart. Good detective work. Thanks Don from California

Wow that was some t/s you did there. That is the way you fix things just keep at it. As bad as it seemed the solution was not so bad just the time to figure it out was the bummer. Awesome job as usual. Makes me want to run to my camper and see how my slides are wired and if they use relays to drive the motors. Which in reality makes sense as there can be some current running there and having a switch drive a relay which lets the switch only have to give a very small amount of current and the relay delivers the big punch of current for the motor.

Those relay's can be very hard to hear... I'm glad I finally did hear it. They are not always wired that way.
