On my website there are hundreds of meal prep, snack, and macro friendly dessert recipes that I have developed over the years. There are no targeted ads, no pointless life stories and endless scrolling to get to the ingredient list, just the recipes. I have a subscription based model where Gold Members have access to every recipe on the site, which is under $5/month with annual memberships. If that's not your thing, there is also a Silver level membership that is free for life, still ad free, and you get access to more than 40% of the recipes. Registering to become a member, whether that is a Gold or Silver (free) member, is the best way you can help support what I do. I appreciate all of you more than you know đ

As someone who grew up in a traditional household where boys did outside things and girls did inside things, I found my culinary skills were severely underdeveloped by the time i was 23 yrs old. This page does wonders for giving me options and clear instructions. Thank you so much.
cooking is a man's job, not lindy
That's because you usually have a wife by then to do the cooking
@@thatgrumpychick4928 Why get married when you can get free money from the government?
That's great to hear. I always tell my Football Players that if you can't cook for yourself, clean your clothes, and home on your own "You're a Momma's Boy!" Military men all learn to cook for themselves and do these things. Cooking for yourself is the sure fire way to know you can maintain your physique. This above meal is perfect. You can adjust the macros by swapping the rice with move veggies and greens.
@@thatgrumpychick4928 at 23? Married at 23? What country are you from? It is not usual to be married at 23 where Iâm from.
I'm so glad you said the total aswell as the cost per portion. It always annoys me when youtubers don't say the "hidden" cost.
Yes!!! They are like 1.45, but it should be the first time buy is 35.00 then after that it becomes 1.45
When he said the total cost, it was an instant subscribe haha I hate when other cooking channels don't say the cost. I'm like okay, I don't have any of those ingredients. I'm not getting anything for .73 cents
Or use a 500 dollar machine lol
@@killbill515 there is almost nothing you canât do even without those machines. I will never understand avoiding CZcams videos who use machines to make their jobs faster. Donât have it? Donât use it.
My dude you are da real MVP! Families out here are struggling to just get thru the day and these meal preps do so well at mitigating expenses. Plus they're healthy and keep the gain train rolling. Thanks for everything you do đ€
Thank you đ
I appreciate the hell out of you for stating the cost for what you used AND what it cost you to actually buy everything as we just canât buy 3 ribs of celery. Also these looked super tasty and my husband and I love your approach to thinking about meal prep and your videos. Thanks!!
Your videos are always so straight forward and I know everyone resonates with that intro. I've saved so much money since I started following you earlier this year and can't thank you enough for creating this channel
i'm hoping it'll do the same for me! my groc bill is INSANE. i know how to cook, but i get scattered between too many diff things and 'potential' meals, and it's not economical and can also lead to food waste if i overbuy for that week.
cooking is one skill. planning meals is another. doing that PLUS finding a way to do it (healthy and variety also) without busting the bank is a whole nother!!
As someone who didnât do a whole lot of cooking in my life at 24 years old you have helped me not only learn recipes but also techniques. Great channel and one I find myself going out of my way to look up often. Thank you for your amazing videos
I love how you give both specific measurements and general ones. For instance in previous recipes I have seen you call out some thing like XXg of tomatoes, and then procede to use a medium tomato. This gives my brain so much necessary freedom to use up my food and not throw away extra bits!!
Thank you so much for these! Iâve been following your recipes for a few months now and Iâve lost over 20 lbs of weight and saved a bunch of money. And your website is so clear and easy to use. I love that I can easier select number of servings and it calculates all that form me. Thank you!
You're so fresh and honest, and down to earth. Im a bit tired of the picture perfect cooking videos, with the uppity attitudes. This is why i love your videos! They encourage me to meal prep at least breakfast for the week, and boy does that help.
Thank you for your support đ
yeah the overly staged, kinda pretentious, fabricated world people present, is kinda annoying actually. i like this down to earth, quick n dirty presentation along with not taking things too seriously.
did i know i needed to laugh with my cooking/recipes? NOPE, but i most certainly do. it's great. these are good even just for entertainment value.
Straight up, no tricks.
You've the best meal prep channel!
I've been using your recipes, making minor adjustment for weight loss, and it's all working great!
Thank you for the brevity of your videos, getting to the point and not wasting my muthr fuqin' time! Awesome stuff!!
Your tip about mashing down the ground beef, turkey, chicken, bison, ostrich whatever.... is the best thing I have done to improve the flavors of my meal preps! Great tips and great recipes. I have cooked many of yours and have loved them all thank you. The sarcasm and humor helps too!
Thanks so much, I stop off to you videos every now and then, and they always help out, thanks for the great ideas.
Love your videos! Binge watching them right now!
Presentation of the recipes was great nice improvement. Love the way you presented the mis en place. Also never abandon the elsa bowls. I use your prep recipes all the time, always great, practical and straightforward.
The Elsa/Frozen container(s) amuses me greatly. I forget if he ever mentioned the story behind it/them.
Love the videos. I started meal prepping / improving my diet based off of your videos. The first meal I made was your firecracker beef. No joke the second thing I made was a riff off of the beef recipe but instead of spice I used Teriyaki sauce and a little local honey. I have loved trying your recipes and they have helped inspire me to get back in the kitchen and try a few different things.
Glad to see you back on here making great videos! We all feel your same pain with rising food costs...it's crazy! I'm sure that everyone would love to see more of these economical meal preps. Oh yeah...your new kitchen looks badass!
Thank you đ
Thank you mate! Youâre the best!
Wow. 1st genuinely easy meal prep.
There's plenty of good videos out there but this one feels like a real entry level which I can start with
Looks great, cant wait to try it out thanks
Perfect timing for this video. Food costs are out of control. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Not sure how to put this on the oatmeal baked I go both ways. Lmao warm or cold doesnât matter.
As always, an awesome video for meal prep. I love your no bullshit approach; you come across as a real guy and that is why I follow you! Well done
Thank you đ
this looks amazing. i cant wait to try this!
Kudos for the new intro style of the ingredients. You were awesome and get awesomerer over time :-). Please never change.
Made that banana cinnamon baked oatmeal this week too. Fantastic recipe!
Helping people save money-what a hero! This looks so delicious; thanks, Joshy!!
Awesome and easy to follow!
If you donât like those mirepoix, just grate them into paste, fry with oil, they turn into amazing pan sauce that coats the protein of choice nicely.
Mega good quality, mad respect!
Thanks for another great idea for pre-made lunches.
I canât wait to try these! Great video.
The best meal prep video Iâve ever seen. Easy to make and delicious recipe. Thank you!
Thanks for your support đ
I literally just saw a Hellofresh ad on your video, and your food is leaps and bound better. Not to mention cheaper, I'm loving your recipes man!
Love these ideas. Tfs!
I use this channel to meal prep.
The gains are real.
Thank you!
Little bit of fresh ginger and beef stock also really makes teriyaki great if you're wanting it more like a stew, highly recommend
I am in love with your baked oatmeal recipes. The apple pie version is so good!
I made the baked oatmeal and tried Teriyaki sauce for the first time and they were both great. Thank you!
Thank you for saying the price of all the products, I can only buy in bulk where I live so hearing some one say the actual whole price is highly appreciated
Thanks again man, I made your pasta fagioli and look forward to making these also.
DUUUDE!!!
What is it like to be so amazing!? Thank you for this
Love these videos keep them up!
Thank you đ
Can't believe it, but I've got all the ingredients, including some Teriyaki ha! Will give this a go. Thanks for the inspiration.
Continuing to use the Frozen tupperware is truly a power move
Fancy new kitchen, fancy new cutting board, still rocking the Frozen tupperware.
good tips. Buy when things are on sale, and buy in bulk. Another tip I want to give is: Eat stuff that is in season. In the fall: Appels and pears tend to be more cheap and other fruit will be more expensive. In the winter carrots onions kale will be more affordable etc etc. I love your recipes keep it up josh!
Thanks for sharing. I am most def gonna do this.
you're welcome
Enjoy the videos. Thanks
Thank you for making budget friendly meals that meet high protein macros.
Notification squadđđœ another great one. We appreciate you!!
One of my favorite aspects of learning new meal prep recipes is subtle passive aggression
You hooked me at âgotdamnnnnn moneyâ great job! Lol Iâm watching the whole âgotdamnâ video and ima comment AGAIN after I finish gotdammmmit!
Another bangerđ„
Keep up th good work ManđȘđœđȘđœđȘđœđȘđœđȘđœđȘđœ
I like how you use the frozen container and I also use what bowls or my kids bowls when I cook
use green bananas...... "you might as well just vomit into the bowl" đ€Ł duuuude, these lines outta nowhere. killin me. love it!! hahaa
New kitchen looks great! Donât ever get rid of the Frozen bowl though!
Commenting for algorithm. Always great, considerate content.
Josh's undying hatred for vegetables cracks me up every time!
I know, right?
I love it! And that is why I'm convinced I can get my veggie hating son to eat them by using Josh's recipes đ đ
"Dont be a cryass." is not only great life advice, it is t-shirt merch worthy.
Great video.
You are legit. Admire this dedication. Inspiring.
Fire video, I make your banana baked oatmeal every week but I never thought to add cinnamon, sounds awesome! Also, I'd love to see a steak meal prep at some point. Keep up the good work!
Thank you and glad you enjoy it đ
I love how you're so honest and practical! I hate to be, "that guy", but do you think the oatmeal would work without bananas? Or would they not stick together?
This is good stuff man. Certainly doesnât look like struggle food
You come through just when I was thinking we need some new recipes.
Hope you enjoy
Josh is the best hands down for meal ideas that I could reasonably put together with minimal effort.
Thank you đ
The beef meal looks tasty and simple.
LOL "I hate all these vegetables." just the tone dude lol
Joshâs humor alone is enough to sell me on this content
4:24 so honest đđ€Ł
Meal prep with Salmon, Shrimp menu please!đ
earned a sub bud
Hey! Been watching for some time now and about to begin meal prepping myself but questionning if in general these meals can be thrown in the freezer and how long they remain fresh in a regular refridgerator? Thanks for the content!!
Best voice over in the game, hands down.
Absolutely amazing videos man! Yellow banana good, green banana bad.. hahaha!
thank you so much đ
HEB! I recognize that aisle lol
Best bottled teriyaki sauce is either veri veri or pf changs
I added half a tiny can of tomato paste (dollar store size); yummy!
Hey Josh. Can you do overnight whey protein oats recipes?
Thank u
Stellar video as ever đ is there an alternative to the whey for the baked oats? Not looking to bulk, diet etc, literally just meal prep for the week
Protein by itself isn't going to make you bulk. It can make you feel fuller though. You can leave the whey out though. The only purpose for that is to increase the protein content.
"I hate all these vegetables"...he says! LMAO!
"For the love of God don't use green bananas." I love your recipes and you crack me up more than once every video. Keep it up man!
Ty 4 the recipe and 6:50 đ€Łđ€Ł
You bet đ
For the banana I prefer 180C (350F) in the oven a few minutes (8-ish usually), until the *skin* is 100% brown (some say more time to black skin but that's MEH to me). It turbo-ripens the banana and will be much more flavourful.
Oh, forgot to add: Thanks for sharing and for presenting in style! Keep'em vidieo clips coming :)
Walmart was out of zuchini, and my high ass bought a cucumber by mistake at a diff store, and i also used matchstick carrots. It still came out amazing. Gotta give the cucumber a shot
hahhaha
Frozen bowl at 1:41 is some drip
you madman, leaving the ends on the bananas
Good to see you show your face in the videos more often đ
I really appreciate the breakdown of everything. Just came across your TikTok and I figured I'd give you a subscribe on here. Is there any substitute to the whey protein?
You could probably use any protein or a combo of flour and sugar
green bananas are great
I know an HEB when I see one and christ do I miss that about Texas.
this is a great channel
Thank you đ
My man woke up and chose violence for this video, and I love it lol.
Opinion on replacing whey with casein? More satiating?
Thank you for being part of the brown banana gang. I thought I was the only who prefer brown or green banana
I'd rather have a brown banana than a green one.
@@milesparris4045 indeed. Sometimes I buy green ones because they become ripe and brown later so you have some time
Brown or green? U know ripe bananas are yellow right?
@@bishbosh4815 theyâre saying they buy green bananas because it gives them a longer period before they go bad
@@MrPersonGuy1000 mmm no they said they prefer them
Hay dood. If I was to blend the oats into a powder would it be the same ratios? And would it work at all?
I need to move to an area where there is a bulk section in a grocery store
NEW,SUBSCRIBER!! HELLO FROM MISSISSIPPI!! I have a question for you! Where can i buy those meal prep containers in multiple amounts? Thank you
i get them from amazon
What Oil do you recommend for this? I was going to use sesame oil since it seems to be asian inspired.
That protmeal would go great with some protien icecream
