Marella Explorer 2 Outside Cabin Tour & Review

Here’s my tour and review of our outside cabin onboard Marella Explorer 2! It’s cabin 4000 which was thankfully very easy for me to remember not to mention its location on the lowest passenger deck and as far forward as possible so I was never going to not find it! Very useful tour thank you! We have 4016 and 4018 booked in May with our friends. Helps me to know if to pack certain things which some cabins on some ships need like a hanging toiletry bag!

Comprehensive review. I'll be taking that trip later this month on an outside cabin on deck 5, so that is very helpful. Glad that you had a fridge- they had removed them from the inside cabins on deck 8 when I travelled in June.

It's great to see things like the turndown service and towel animals back! They are little touches but they all come together to make a big impact on the cruise experience 😊
Do you know if the bathroom pong was just an issue with your cabin, or did any other passengers mention it?

I think there was a bit of a drainage pong in certain areas, by all accounts. It wasn’t always prevalent and it was never too bad, but a trusty air freshener to hand never a bad idea 😂

Hi great vlog… I hadn’t ever considered a cabin like this before, but having seen the cabin definitely worth a try!! Can I ask, with the USB ports in the lamp, do you have to have the lamp on for the charge to work? ⚓️
