Congrats Ben.
Nothing but L&R for Igarashi and Ben
Awesome you got to interview him Ben. His games were also a huge part of what made me a gamer. Bloodstained looks great! Keep up the amazing work Ben and all the Allies.
Great interview, Ben.
Congrats Ben, fantastic job. I'm so jealous that you got to interview one of the biggest legends of this industry!
Thanks for this interview Ben!
Ben!!! Such a good interview. You are top tier, 10/10, best in the biz.
Ben's so natural in his interviewing, it's clear to tell that Ben's curiosity of his interviewee comes from a place of passion and it makes for a brilliant interview
Ben stay winning with his interviews!
Great interview Ben. I really appreciate how insightful your questions always are. I feel like I actually learned a bit more about Igarahshi and Bloodstained despite having followed its development pretty closely. Much Respect. And a socially appropriate amount of Love.
I'm so proud of you Ben :)
Man, the translator was really good for this interview. 10/10
DUDE ! YES ! WE NEED MORE OF THESE ! Interviews are the bomb and I'm sure there'sa lot of developers/writers out there that would love to get interviews from you guys.
Awesome job, Ben + whomever edited this. Translated interviews are tough to nail down with the back and forth, but this was cut super well. 5 star interview!
Igurashi-san(Noodles) + Ben Moore(Broth) = SUGOI :)
Is Bloodstained the spice? Cause the chef may not be able to fairly judge another bowl after eating one like this.
This interview is exquisite, great work Ben!
Dude Ben this is sick
Freaking love how he walks around with the hat and whip.
For some reason I wasn't interested in this game, but thanks to this interview it's now on my radar. Thanks Ben!
Great interview, senpai Ben.
That was pretty cool Ben. Well done!!!
Musta been like a dream come true.
Great interview Ben, it's really cool to have the developper point of view on games
L&R
So hype! Great interview!
Thank you for this interview! It is so cool to see IGA's confidence when it comes to his work.
Take your time with Bloodstained Igarashi sama, I want the best game possible.
Great questions Ben! I love it when an interviewer can come up with something other than the usual "is game good?" questions.
Great Interview! You should do more of those. It was a pleasure to watch it.
Hosting Frame Trap really sharpened Ben's interviewing abilities. Good combination of casual and proffesional communication.
Great interview Ben you always manage to articulate yourself so well and have something interesting to say.
I think the game looks great. Can't wait to play it.
This game looks like it's coming along great. I forgot this was in the pipe.
Great job Ben!
It's great to see the Allies interviewing a creator like Igarashi. Looking forward to the day Kyle has another chance at Kojima. Congrats Ben!
professional interviewer by day, professional kaiju-impersonator by night
Great interview, Ben. I can't wait for this game.
This is a great interview from someone who just gets it, and can do it right... talking to someone who's got so much to mine.
This is one tasty broth. Fantastic interview, Ben.
Great interview. Ben asking those real questions.
First suda 51 & now this!? Ben you the man!
great interview ben!
The game looks gorgeous.
Great interview. Great questions, Ben!
Ben, you are a class act. You are like Keighley x 10 to the power of Love and Respect!!
Nice video man!
I like those casual questions inbetween. i'm sure it helps alot
Excellent interview!
I feel like this interview got buried during the E3 splurge. I hope whoever wins the next podcast bet, highlights this video.
Highly anticipating this one
I can't wait to play this, im not even a fan of Castlevania because I've never played any really. But this looks awesome.
Very fun interview!
great interview Ben !
That last question! Brilliant!!
L&R to Iga.
Just road whips - Ben Moore
So happy that Ben finally got to meet Kripparian.
Sooooo what are the odds of getting this man to collab with Hidetaka Miyazaki (i.e. Bloodborne)
The game looks great.
I hope Ben gets to interview with most japanese developers.
I liked your out of the box questions.
I wish there had Ben Moore time for questions.
It's unfortunate because I've heard these exact questions asked of him a dozen times each before, but at least I learned he has stained glass in his house
It was very interesting how quickly the female translator translates Iga because, I could hear her saying um as much as Iga was saying "Anō" which means um. It's like she was trying to say everything Iga was saying in English, which is interesting because his male
translator refines his translations much shorter.
looks like a fun game
Some people complain that the character moves "too slow"... All I will say is that they'll more than likely get used to it faster than one might think. People have been playing so many faster paced games, that it has affected how they see games.
Looks cool. Will keep my eye on it. Is it coming to Xbox One?
being a backer, i have high hopes for this game!
Bloodstained is the only video game I have ever backed on KS.
LOVE & RESPECT
I would have loved if you asked him something about the Metroid franchise considering its ties to Castlevania, wether he was happy or not that the franchise is coming back or if he ever met Gunpei Yokoi and wether they considered each other as rivals or friends
THE LEGEND
"Um."
Enjoyed the interview
Anymore interviews to come guys?
Koji Igarashi probably sleeps in a coffin for a few hours a night just to regenerate his lifeforce.
The euphoria of sleep deprivation, starvation does something similar too.
Ben the interview man!
you guys know what i want
Best in the biz
Ben does unexpected questions to people.
Didn't have Bloodworth doing the interview for Bloodstained.
7/10
Easy Allies Oh no, Ben did an amazing job and I wouldn't have it any other way! I was just trying to be a smart ass that you could have made a pun about Blood interviewing Bloodstained :P
Easy Allies Yo Blood. You've been killing it with the E3 uploads. Thanks a lot for the work and get rest when possible
Finalblue1234 "How many whips do you own" Such a good question. lol 10/10
Screw Bloodworth and Ben, we need Cold Blooded doing the interviews.
is this going to be good? might do the slacker-backer kickstarter, unless there's a confirmed retail physical release
Some of the most successful people in the world only sleep for 4 hours. Thoughty2 made a video on it!
Suda 51, now Koji Igarashi... who next Ben!?
Sick mic stand
Cool mic stand.
Did he sign your Symphony of the Night, Ben? ;)
Way to go Ben
Good for Den, good question, pro interview, love it.
IGA - legend. Unfortunately, 1 thing which I care about is a visual style .. I think they need to stay in 2D, this faded 2.5 D / 3D style
not gonna happen, 2D is too expensive and time consuming and inflexible, 3D is just the way of game develoment with limited budgets and time
Coldblooded should have done this interview...
Im a little scared about this game. I really want to play it because i love SOTN but from the beginning, i didn´t like the animation of the characters. They don´t look fluid in my opinion, and a little bit slow. I would have loved that the game to was only 2D with great draws and animations :(. I hope this comes out great.
this camera angle is really throwing me off
nice interview. the game though... geez i hope it plays great because it doesnt look good
The movement looks stiff and lifeless. Hopefully this won't go the way of recent kickstarter failures.
Having played the demo, I can say that the game feels very much like a standard Castlevania, the lifeless feels comes more from the 3d cg graphics (the game is made in unreal 4), but when you're playing it's not really an issue, the animations feel very fluid
Failures like, what, MN9? That's not recent. Bad KS games are the exception not the rule.
Who was translating? Didn't know EZA had females besides jones wife :O
Thanks for the quick answer :) As a backer of this game, i can't wait til it is finally getting released :D Nice interview!
I think she translated parts of a TGS conference. Totally sounds like that with the cadence and umm and ahhs.
A lot of uhm from the translator lol.
I think it was almost a direct translation because, I could hear Iga saying "Anō" which means um. It's like she was trying to say everything Iga was saying in English, which is interesting because his male translator refines his translations much shorter.
Looks like I won't be buying this. Kickstarter backers have access to exclusive content... why would I buy half a game?
Very little content in game is "backer exclusive". Just one boss and the weapon he drops, the Swordwhip. I believe that's it. Hardly "half a game". Given this is going to be IGA's biggest castle yet, you don't have to worry about being short of content.
Mewzard I don't care how small, it's not the complete experience therefore I won't buy it. Exclusive content is cancer.
XenoZero It was a gift to those willing to fund the game, since the game wouldn't exist without them (and even if it would, it wouldn't nearly be as big as it's going to be, given how it exploded way past what anyone expected).
i'm sorry, but this interview was seriously unprofessional and filled with dumb questions. ask more about the game!
Ben you need to get better
