I wonder how Konami feels to see the public literally drop 5 million dollars on their former talent to essentially do the job they utterly failed to do.
...then again, considering the Castlevania "Erotic Violence" Pachinko machine, I'm guessing they're REALLY butthurt and are literally whoring out the IP out of pure spite.

Anaxson Mondrox 3DS too weak to handle Bloodstained, it was already discussed by some people on reddit. It's just not possible. I'm pretty sure vita's going to barely handle the thing
This Kickstarter made more money than Konami did with Castlevania for the last 5 years.

Well disregarding the art of her wielding a giant crystal hammer, her expressions in the art provided look confident and determined, and the description provided says "She is a woman of few words but strong of purpose. Her youth is deceiving, making her seem confrontational and quick to judge, though in reality she is constantly evaluating her next step. " Also, I enjoyed playing as Shanoa and Charlotte, so yeah.

I must say, IGA-san, that taking your your backers' questions seriously and answering them in person (instead of through some PR manager) is the right way to go. It takes courage, but it's the only way to establish trust. We backers don't particularly care about presentation (at this point), but we do appreciate it when our concerns are addressed in a timely and earnest fashion. And if you continue with these updates, you will discover that the active support of a large and sympathetic community is a much bigger asset to you than just our money (although that helps, too). :-)
I love how involved he seems to be with the fans. And providing us with answers to questions so quickly. One of the greatest developers of all time.
We have seen your previous work Iga, your reputation preceeds you. no one would have funded if they didnt think you did not deserve this kind of recignition. Your genre is not dead, it was just lost for a while.
im honestly thrilled to see you back to what you love, your designs have always been one of a kind. I eagerly await the release date, or even any beta releases, because this game will truely be one to remember!

Thank Glob this Kickstarter straddles two months, starting in the middle of one and ending in the next, rather than just running from the start to the end of May. This month was tough for me money-wise, and as much as I'd have loved to back it on day 1 I wasn't able to do so.
With it spilling over into June, though, I'll still have time to get on-board after I get paid for next month. I would've been heartbroken if I was unable to be a part of this project. #IGAvania for life!
And it's really cool that IGA likes female protagonists. I was pretty disappointed when they retconned Sonia Belmont out of the family tree.

Thank you IGA for preserving some of our favorite types of games when the big game companies won't do it anymore. You've worked on some of my favorite games of all-time. I've started playing Symphony of the Night again this week and it is still excellent even 18 years later. A true classic. I hope that Bloodstained becomes the next successor.
