It's great to see that you can still get distracted even when giving a lesson. Why do we all go off on a distraction as soon as we have learnt something new? So luv spending this time with you. Can be serious and a laugh or two along the way....

I try hard not to compare and not to worry. But I've been practicing the first pattern since the summer and mess up on the 1st V chord. So I laughed when Tomo missed it while he was talking. Not at him, but at the universe. In one of John Mayer's online lessons, he's practicing his Dead songs. He's teaching how to outline chords, pushing himself, and gets confused, which he said is the point. He says, I don't know many scales. I laughed again. Tomo once said in a comment that he's proud to be imperfect. A great motto for guitar and a better world. Thanks so much. Great video.

@@TomoFujitaMusic Those are my mottos thanks to you, Tomo. But it sure is exciting when, all of a sudden, the improvement is fast. Thanks to you and John Mayer, Dec. 26 I got one of my best Christmas presents ever. Something just clicked. Combing your advice on learning triads and his advice to outline chords, I couldn't believe it was me playing. I'm grateful to both of you.
