I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

Only come if you are getting a good IT job that keeps you for 3-4 years and you limit your time to that to come and learn then go back after getting Passport.
Education is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.
India is live and vibrant, yes with its own issues, but still more hospitable than here.

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place-jobs, healthcare, housing-to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
Canada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system-it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.
We see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

Specially in canada. 15 years ago noone writes SOP but in 2009 Canada immigration ask for justification of stay request with fews students and after that all stated writing SOP. Till date SOP is not mandatory document for filing. Actually every country have their immigration goals. Canada give visa easily because their immigration goal is to get a educated cheap labour without investing a money which afterall they getting it. Usa goal is to get a best talent from other country, Australia to get skill labour who's shortage is their mention in their list, New Zealand wants same but work with median wage, UK just want immigrants to harvest money.

I’ll give my honest opinion. I have stayed in Canada for 3 years from 2018 - 2021 during which I have also worked there. The good thing about that country is almost no pollution and less population and the people are also friendly. However, the costs of housing, medical and other expenses have risen considerably and it’s very difficult to save money and enjoy life freely. The big cities like Toronto and Vancouver are out of reach for the students in terms of rent. Also my own roommate was a victim of crime as 2 college students robbed him and fortunately he only suffered minor injuries. There is also shortage of jobs due to recession. Otherwise your job's disposable income provision is unlikely for you to ever be able to afford a house in a non-remote place in Canada where jobs are available too. @@ginaross295 Sure, but a rare skill set pays as much as executive level, which begins at $120,000 per year in Canada, of which $6500 is monthly take home. Repairs.maintenance of car $200/month. Groceries $1000 per month to eat with reasonable health. Clothes, taxi, restaurants, travel and tourism, movie tickets, etc..are very expensive. House help is very expensive. There is simply no way the middle class in Canada today can save as much in real terms or Purchasing Power PArity terms than the same person holding the same job in India. I have no issue with you doing well - I want all our Bharatiyas to succeed globally, and they will because even in tough environments like Canada today, over the long run, our Bharatiya values allow us to outperform others. But please don't say life is normal here in Canada in terms of decent job = decent life. I do very well here too, family of 4, annual cost of living without any private education for kids is $120,000/year in Toronto. We can live a much better life in India for $30,000/year. Lucky we own our own businesses...but still feels lousy spending so much for so little. We are moving back to India for the sake of our kids, who are only half Indian. Those who have global mobility and are at a high level of career growth or success will find India a better environment for growth than Canada. Of course, it's easier to succeed in Canada due to less competition, but as far as saving for a good life here, unless you are planning on moving to Mexico, Thailand or back to India...the numbers don't make sense here anymore. IT's basically a natural resource economy of mediocre performers that is now decreasing in wealth on a per capita basis year after year and will continue to do so into the future.

Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. • @ExeArjuna
    @ExeArjuna Před 18 dny +1

This is 100% True! Actually the condition is much worst than descirbed in this video.
Health Care:- Average wait time to get a family doctor is 3-5 years. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. If you need to see a specialist like dermatologist or orthopedic, average wait time here is 6 months.
Rents :- Canada population has increased by over 1 Million every year in past 3-4 years due to libreal immigration policies. However, the goverment did not take any steps to accomodate these people. To give context, Canada has built houses every year to accomodate only 300K people. That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago.
Home Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home.
By the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year.
Crime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years.
Taxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. So in hand they only get around $53k, plus they pay 13% additoanl tax on groceries, clothers, insurance, absoulte everything.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !!
And the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country.
I always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!!
If anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. And if you have already booked your flight, all the best….its going to be extremely tough.

Sir, the large population in India makes you feel worthless even if you have any skills. When you go to a client, they don't offer even half the amount that your work is worth. If you refuse, they say, 'No problem, we will find someone else.' Shockingly, they do find someone who will work for less money. There will always be someone willing to work for less. Additionally, the government doesn't really care about poor people; they see them as garbage. Privileged children also make fun of the poor to look cool

I had a gynaecological issue where I was bleeding for over a month. You cannot go to a specialist by yourself without a referral. When I got the referral I could not get an appointment for the next 4 months. I had to immediately run to India to get treated. My friends have all had similar experiences. My husband will get a different one and I’ll get a different one. Homelessness is rampant. Every month 100s of working people are going homeless. They are rushing to hospitals to take shelter from heat and rain. 60% of Canada is atheist and churches have been turned into bars, cabarets, libraries, homeless shelters etc. Most international students rely on food banks because you can’t afford groceries here. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example.
Pregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect.
The drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs.
The protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents.
I agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. This wasnt the case 10 years back. But this is true to only densely populated cities. Everyone wants to go to Toronto and Vancouver so it has made the situation tough in those cities. But there are other provinces and cities that are still easy to settle down and build your life.
Canadian locals being not immigrant friendly is not whole truth. Some % of locals yes they are fed up of too much immigration but do search for videos or news article of Indian students in Brampton fighting and you will get the answer on why some of the Canadian locals are being wary about immigrants now a days.
It is hard to settle down in Canada yes. For someone who is having a decent salary in India can live a good life in India instead of choosing to struggle. But someone are made to chose the hard path to success.

But I see you guys talk about protest in the first part of the video, but you did not really tell why they are protesting.
A lot of students are protesting because they either want free education or they want the universities to make the exams easier for them.
Students are being deported because they got to Canada through a fake letter of acceptance. There is no bizarre reason for their deportation.
Students are not getting PR because the programs get full. It's not all students. I think you kind of put all students in one clan.

The drug problem being legal makes no difference to that province. It actually curbs the gang wars and stuff.
I completely agree with you on the health and housing crisis. But it seemed your research was not at par with what I have seen on your channel before.

    Dear Abhi and niyu
I am a citizen of Bangladesh. I see what kind of educational content you create. How to stand up against injustice and teach us to stand up.
You are a citizen of India, you must have heard the name of Bangladesh. In our country, in the name of autocracy and anarchy, people are suppressed without giving the opportunity to speak. Today, even after 53 years of independence, students who are descendants of freedom fighters are preferred over talented and educated people. Request you to make a specific and preventive video based on this topic. I do not know if you will see the message? But if you have seen it, I request you to keep my proposal.
    thank you

My honest opinion on one statement here " India ki sirf buraiyan dikhti he hume" is
We should not ignore our country's problems by focusing on the issues of other nations. India has a long way to go. We have to acknowledge that we have much to improve.
Other countries, despite having less favorable climates, are ahead in many areas. India, with its good climate, has the potential to excel in agriculture and tourism, yet it is still considered a poor country by many. Cleanliness is a major issue that needs urgent attention.
Our politicians should be educated and free from corruption. Developing a few cities won't make India a developed country. We have favorable climate conditions, so decentralization is essential. This doesn't mean make building in every districts and increase pollution there, but starting with the basics: cleanliness, schools, libraries, hospitals, and creating local job opportunities.
Focusing on just a few sectors won't drive the country's growth. Many cities are so dirty that visitors are repelled by the sight of garbage. We've turned our natural resources, like rivers, lakes, and mountains, into dumps.
India has a long way to go. I'm not suggesting we abandon the country and move to other nations, but we shouldn't ignore its flaws. We should push the government to address these issues. Those with the privilege to highlight these problems should use their voice to make an impact.

As someone who recently finished studying in a canadian university, some points you make here are just wrong and incorrect. Drugs and housing is a problem but loans are waayyyy too easily available. Healthcare is in shambles, too. Personally, I would say that it's not safe in canada anymore

Loans are easy in these NATO countries due to the US model of capitalism, inform me how many of them are able to repay the loan with interest?

The good part of the videos is at the end….don’t listen to anyone and don’t see anyone’s life here and decide. Do your own research, most of the people who suffer are the ones with no research and plan, and only think that once you are in Canada, everything will be alright.

Thanks for taking this up. This unfortunately is the sad reality of not only Canada but most of the west. We have experienced everything mentioned in the video first hand and confirm that everything spoken in the video is absolutely true. No place like India❤

Changed Name - One of my colleague had his hand dislocated and had to wait 8 hours in line to see doctor, Noone offered him any meds for pain or nothing. Once he got the chance to see doctor, they told him to get get x-ray and it's unbelievable that he got the x-ray appointment after 9 months. Till that time he just got the hand band to support his dislocated hand and he got healed with time. Ridiculous I can't imagine the pain he Has been through
