Sure enough, a couple years later he's getting knocked out by middleweight Dan Henderson, Gigantism victim Antonio Silva, and your fave fighter, Fabricio Scrubdum.

Didn't give up a single point in his world championship tournament and the 1972 Munich games. Overall record of 181-1 pretty freaking good. All he did was pretty much win.
Francis didn't take many big shots in that fight but it shows how you can be mentally messed with after a bad fight. He held his own against Stipe but his weaknesses were exploited and it effected his mentality in his next fight
But if you don't fix it...and keep going the chain reaction of chaos that ensures... was the point....god mfers are dumb and pick apart anything to look cool.
I like cain. In his prime he came at you 100% for the full 25 minutes. But stipe has beaten everyone that cain has lost to. Plus he’s knocked 2 of them out in one round. Cain good, but stipe goat.
I feel Cain is the best if he's 100 percent....his wrestling and boxing are way better then everyone else's no disrespect to stipe he's a monster first ever heavyweight to defend the belt 3 times. Would love to see Cain prime vs stipe now wooo what a war that be
Ball joints and axles are relatively easy fixes. Transmissions give me nightmares. Even if you switch in a "new" which is still remanufactured, they're never as good.
Cain Velasquez measured by “skills” was undoubtedly very very great. But, by resume, I really don’t think he’s in the heavyweight GOAT conversation. Am I crazy?
No, I completely agree. At his best I’d pick him up near them all, but he never got the opportunity to because he couldn’t stay healthy for long enough. Real shame.
I always thought he was the most athletic heavyweight too. He did a jumping armbar on some1 at one time in his career. Craziest thing I seen a heavyweight do.
Donald Cerrone has almost every UFC record to date but I don't think that makes Cerrone arguably the greatest p4p UFC fighter of all time or even the greatest UFC lightweight fighter of all time. Frank Mir got wrecked by JDS, dominated by Overeem, outclassed by DC, smashed by Carwin, steamrolled by Barnett and even got crushed by Lesnar in their rematch. Pretty much all of those fights mentioned were extremely lopsided losses for Frank Mir. I'm not counting Frank Mir's losses to Fedor, Hunt and Arlovski since he was way past his prime in those fights ( even though so were Fedor, Hunt and Arlovski themselves ). Sure, Frank Mir has some big wins at heavyweight like his wins over Big Nog ( twice), Cro Cop, Congo, Sylvia and Lesnar in their 1st fight but Frank Mir's several extremely lopsided losses against elite heavyweight competition outweighs his grand success at heavyweight. Frank Mir has been destroyed by top heavyweight fighters way too many times for him to be in the argument for being the heavyweight GOAT.

Can’t wait to see Cain fight in Phoenix Arizona
Didn't give up a single point in his world championship tournament and the 1972 Munich games. Overall record of 181-1 pretty freaking good. All he did was pretty much win.
5:20 TJ has a good mindset, with integrity. I like that. More respect for him now.
Damn joe needs tony or khabib on
that would be awesome
Khabib Tony and Conor joint-podcast
Joe”pull that shit up Jamie”Rogan
Tj s cool Mexican fan here from 505
joe” cain DMT velasquez “ rogan
Werdum also KO'd Mark Hunt!!!!
Yea thats a huge feather in his cap can't lie
After Hunt took a short notice fight at altitude. Hunt was getting the better of the striking until he gassed (not surprisingly).
Mark Hunt is 13-14-1 (1 NC) he is not a big win, he was just a good pro kickboxer and it didnt translate to mma
@@bradhefty6744 "KO'd"....back then a KO of Hunt was a big deal!....before that I think he was only KO'd by JDS and Melvin!
Stipe so underrated
Joes on the fence so much he’s made a nice comfy swivel chair up on top of the fence.
joo dana where is joe?
Stipe miocic is the greatest heavyweight fighter fact 👑
@TheKid Lol
That’s an epic wresting squad with Cain and TJ. Didn’t Bader go to ASU too ? Had to be around the same time
Francis didn't take many big shots in that fight but it shows how you can be mentally messed with after a bad fight. He held his own against Stipe but his weaknesses were exploited and it effected his mentality in his next fight
I heard Jack Swagger beat Cain twice in college
Ball joints , easy fix
I was thinking the same thing. Lmao
But if you don't fix it...and keep going the chain reaction of chaos that ensures... was the point....god mfers are dumb and pick apart anything to look cool.
Completely agree with Joe on Werdum. His resume speaks for itself.
Joe Rogan -then the axle starts grinding. Lol
I like cain. In his prime he came at you 100% for the full 25 minutes.
But stipe has beaten everyone that cain has lost to. Plus he’s knocked 2 of them out in one round.
Cain good, but stipe goat.
truth
Stipe??? He’s the greatest HW ever !
Nope lol
I feel Cain is the best if he's 100 percent....his wrestling and boxing are way better then everyone else's no disrespect to stipe he's a monster first ever heavyweight to defend the belt 3 times. Would love to see Cain prime vs stipe now wooo what a war that be
tj 'gracious in victory or defeat' dillashaw!!
Fedor looked like the best in his day
To me Fedor and DC are the best Heavyweights of all time
Bones jones needs to move up to hw
@@gogo-yh5cq He's not called Bones for nothing. He doesn't have enough of a frame to build up to heavyweight, look how skinny his legs are.
@@Uxoriouswidow
Because he doesn't squat enough.
Rakishi is number one in my book
But even DC says he cant beat cain.
Joe and the Tattletale. 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
Ball joints and axles are relatively easy fixes. Transmissions give me nightmares. Even if you switch in a "new" which is still remanufactured, they're never as good.
Was a good stoppage going limp 4 times in 22 seconds with a great wrestler on top of you, it was over
Cain Velasquez measured by “skills” was undoubtedly very very great. But, by resume, I really don’t think he’s in the heavyweight GOAT conversation. Am I crazy?
No, I completely agree. At his best I’d pick him up near them all, but he never got the opportunity to because he couldn’t stay healthy for long enough. Real shame.
How about Frank Mir?? Has almost every UFC heavyweight record to date
Justin Gray and he came back after a horrible motorcycle accident and became champ again I think
I always thought he was the most athletic heavyweight too. He did a jumping armbar on some1 at one time in his career. Craziest thing I seen a heavyweight do.
He loss to DC, and Fedor
@@MrPjspacejam u had me in the beginning, but hes top 5 period.
Damn ..a shot out to the Lions Den...Jerry Bohlander ,Old school Shamrock and those boys...all meat head style training ...way back!
Tj "it was an early stoppage" Dillashaw
