Hi! I am happy to found your channel :) I want to make craft kit boxes for kids. But not the ones where are 3-5 small crafts but one big craft every month - clock making, tshirt painting, dream catcher and so.
Im starting a selfcare subscription box, and hopefully I can donate the profit to child mental health charities to help with therapy and stuff. I’ve battled with depression over half of my life and #SelfCare is a big way to fight it off. I want to encourage people to start taking care of themselves and not letting depression get the best of them. It’s going to be for men and women but I want to focus on men more because they have a harder time due to what society expects out of them.

@@arunimasaha4171 yes i understand entirely, I’ve been struggling with my mental health since I was 6 yrs old but I was diagnosed at 9, it would’ve been sooner if my mom didn’t force me to lie, but when I told the truth I was sent to therapy and my mom took me out the day after because she didn’t want me talking about her….ever since then I haven’t had anyone but myself, I didn’t make friends or went out. Eventually as I got older, I learn that selfcare, the simplest things to tell myself that I love me, helped. I smile in the mirror every morning even when I feel bad. I try to keep up with my hygiene, and light my favorite candles. And journal but yeah my journey with my mental health I feel like this would help a lot of people, and it would mean the world to me to give people what I didn’t have, even as a little kid you know. That’s why I want the profits to go to child mental health charities. And I want to make sure that men don’t feel like they can’t have it either, they deserve to love themselves and take care of themselves, sure they have their moments 😂 but you know we are all human.

But my parents never took me for diagnosis or therapy the one they took me to was a complete BS, so I guessed I self diagnosed it since I read about these things a lot on Internet and all the symptoms I found matched with mine. Things that happen to me on daily or monthly basis. Sometimes I'm riddled with Anxiety and sometimes there are times where for few weeks or maybe months I feel happy and everything is going Good and next moment I feel like everything is going down the hill, everything is going dark and gloomy. But now I have learnt to deal with these on my own. Above all I come from a country where Mental Health is stigmatized a lot and people judge mental health On face values saying he/she wasn't someone who'd lose hope in life and sink into depression and anxiety. Since he or she looks like a happy-go-lucky person. And I don't think I'll ever forget this case that happened 2 years ago about an actor who committed suicide and his family members and the rest of the world lashed out on his girlfriend blamed her and crucified her that she's responsible for that actor's death. Even though that actor was suffering from Bipolar Disorder. The way his girlfriend was horribly vilified by his parents and the kind of media trial that media houses ran on her and the kind of Poisonous Witch Hunt that followed, was traumatising the whole world wanted to see her 🔥.

Love all your helpful ideas. I am starting a subscription box for Children - I create coloring books, journals and inspirational wall art for age group 6and over. I only sell individually at the moment. I can fill in with other relevant items to make up a box. I will be interested to find out what sort of margin and currently will only sell to Australian family as I have my products here and the cost of International postage is too great. I will be offering two different box subscriptions. One is a butterfly pinning box. It contains 5 butterflies and arrives monthly. Another box is my monthly mystery box of nature-preserved shadow box trinkets (ethically foraged skulls, bones, feathers, etc)

You would create a Shopify store in the same way you would a traditional online business. The only difference would be to add a Subscription app like Bold or Recharge to take automatically withdraw the monthly subscription fee.

You won't have it all together in the in the beginning. As your business grows you will learn to adjust. You can always test, by asking your customers how often they like to receive subscription boxes.

Although it seems there is a lot of competition out for there subscription tea boxes, you'd be surprised to know that the ones that take up the largest market-share are the ones that are have really flexed their social media knowledge and advertising. With there being so many different ways to marketing your business today, anybody could begin something successful. In your situation, you've got the experience behind you with operating your tea room, so you have a natural advantage here. I think something you can do to really differentiate yourself from other boxes would be to include these crafts you mentioned! You'll likely want to determine where you're planning on shipping to first, so you can make sure you have the proper packaging! Once you have those steps figured out, you'll be golden!
